Plumbly 10 Posted July 17, 2009 (edited) The 7th Cavalry Regiment is currently recruiting Active, and mature Players! We are a Military / Tactical Realism unit. The 7th Cavalry Regiment has been active for 7 years and boasts over 190 active members from around the world. We currently play a variety of first person shooters. However, we have recently transitioned to Armed Assault 2. Our Public Server is currently ranked number 2 and has been ranked as high as number 1. We are a mature unit, that bases its values on the US Army Core Values. IN addition the majority of our unit leadership are either current or ex military from various branches around the world. 7th Cavalry Minimum Requirements 16 Years old or older Have a microphone Be Able to download xfire and ventrillo Be active a minimum of 1 time per week on the forums to make roll calls Be able to make 2 trainings per month with your assigned section. Aircraft Carrier Spawning 4. Fuel limitations on aircraft so that airpower does not get all the kills 5. AWACs for better control of air and ground assets 6. In addition we have recently stood up an Artillery Platoon and are looking for more troopers to join this section. We are currently recruiting for aircrews as well. As such Russian President Medvedev has alerted his forces and sent a warning to the United States that its aggression will not be tolerated. Russian ground commanders have been given orders to engage any US forces operating in Charnarus. usarmy19dsniper 0 Posted April 26, 2010 Hey everybody, I am the Infantry Platoon Leader for C/3/1-7. We have over 35 people in our Infantry platoon currently and we plan on expanding into an entire Infantry company. Of course we need more than just ground pounders. We have a Tank platoon and an aviation company as well whom are always looking for more people to fill their ranks. The only issue is that we need YOU! To join us in our great community. There are no other arma2 communities as large and well organized as 7th Cav. We have several Active Duty Army in command positions, and we ensure we stay true to tactical realism. I myself, am an Active Duty soldier and I have been in the Army for almost 6 years now. I ensure our tactics are followed to standard. If you don't feel comfortable with ACE, we have an extensive training course called AIT ( Advanced Individual Training ) which will help you become more familiar with ACE, as well as teaching you the knowledge you need to be successful in Combined Operations in Arma2. Currently we run 1 campaign operation monthly, but hold section practices weekly. We do run single missions every other week or so. usarmy19dsniper 0 Posted May 23, 2010 Just a quick update, we have been running a great program called "Best Squad Competition" where we come up with 6 man teams to accomplish a series of tasks. This is on top of our bi weekly missions and monthly campaign operations. Again we strive for as close to real life military as possible. We have several retired and active duty military running the show in our Arma2 battalion ( that's right, we have a Battalion, with 2 companies in it ). twobells 0 Posted July 12, 2010 I met SHANE yesterday on OA and really enjoyed learning the sim from him, he used excellent tactics and showed leadership in a game that by it's very nature is chaotic. usarmy19dsniper 0 Posted July 12, 2010 We just broke our members record this week. We now have over 300 members in the 7th Cavalry regiment. This includes all areas of operations, including CoD4, CoD5, AA3, BFBC2, and ofcourse, Arma2 Combine Operations. In our Arma2 Battalion, we are now at 132 active duty members. This means that we have 132 people posting once a week for their roll call, and conducting 1 section practice. We have an Aviation Company of Fixed Wing Attack, Fixed Wing Transport, Rotary Wing Attack, Rotary Wing Transport, and a Special Operations Flight Wing. Armor Company with 2 tank platoons, a Cavalry Scout section, and a Mortar section. Infantry Company with 1 Airborne Platoon, 1 Stryker Platoon, and 2 Sniper sections. So if you are into large coordinated attacks with all aspects being brought to bear on the enemy, this is the place for you. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The 7th Cavalry Regiment is putting on a ceremony to honor all current, past, and future Airborne Troops in our Combined Arms Server. The ceremony will last approximately 30-45 minutes and will include a brief history of the Airborne, the Airborne Creed, static line jump display, and a HALO jump display. All guest are welcome but civilian slots will be limited.
