acusf2small.jpg

Fullsize

Special Forces units from the Alpha detachment. These units come in ACU camo as well as two variants of the SPEAR jacket.

The green version of the spear jacket is seen on units with (D) in their name, and the black is seen on units with (N) in their name. By no means milspec, based more off of the VBS2 SF units.

Hi, i've found 3 small bugs, but the weapons sound and work really

well. When the bolt stays back after depleet the magazine... you can

see through the inside of the weapon, in the the SCAR-L DMR the

sight's muzzle flash it's off centered to the left, instead be behind

the scope's cross, i didn't try the SCAR-H DMR yet; and the damn

weapon icons... why they're so small?. Aside of those 3 really small

things and the fact of force us to use an unsigned addon... they're

really pimp, makes me really sad that the public servers don't use

this kind of good quality addons that the game as the players, really

need. Let's C ya

The addons are signed.

The icons are small because I made them that way.

The invisible guts to the SCAR is a known issue and might change some day.

I'll look at the other stuff.

Otherwise, glad you like smile_o.gif

Glad you like it laborj456Oh. We're planning on follow on releases with some different gear (and weapons and possibly vehicles). So you'll just have to see what happens. wink_o.gif

Wip: right...hadn't thought of that NWD pbo - though I suppose there isn't much I can do about that. Maybe if NWD updates the scopfix addon, or I can reinvent the wheel and replicate the optics from that addon.

NWD scopefix is included also with ACE and 6thsense - and neither group has problems with it.

Awesome! I was wondering when someone was going to make a SCARS rifle. I have to wait until I get home to try them out, but they look really nice from the screenshots.

At first I thought it was a Alpha Spetsnaz team so was a little disappointed (as I don't think anyone's made a good Spetsnaz addon), but was happy again when I saw the SCARS. The SF units look pretty damn good as well.

Nice work guys!

Very nice!!! You should look into a Multi-branch unit code named DEVGROUP (stationed @ *******, VA). It is the USA's Premier counter terrorism unit. They go after TIER 1 priorities. i.e. Osama Bin Ladin

Read this: http://www.specialoperations.com/Navy/NSWDG/profile.htm

O and just so you know... US Navy SeAL's wear a modified desert Digi pattern (in desert theatre)... A little more functionality then the marines. The only difference between their camo and the marines is that their's doesnt contain EGA's in the pattern & also contains more pockets.

by the way, i just used the seals as an example because of the unit mentioned above. I know that your units are not seals... FYI wink_o.gif

question.. any chance of getting a variation of all these in black.?

great job!!

smile_o.gif

edit: maybe a CQB option on the sniper rifles? (iron sight ability)

I should add that the SCARs are by Dasquade and Scubaman3D smile_o.gif

Nice one, but I noticed that when the bolt is open, it has no texture/modelling on the inside so you can see through it. Just a minor annoyance but overall a great addon

They're not produced in black. Only tan, currently. Only the 1st gen SCARs were black. We're at gen 4 now, I believe.

Oh, and as a side note for everybody, they're not even called SCARs anymore. They're  called, simply 'CAR'.

Many of the weapons have built in CQB modes and those features will be in ACE and are in 6thsense. Not in this release because of the complexity and problems associated with doing this.

sad_o.gif

shame.. i wanted to make this the 'official' weapon pack for LN missions.

it doesn't look so good at night with a tan rifle. (though i suppose you're going for 100% realism.)

no matter because the weapons are awesome... and i can't say i'm looking for a missing bolt texture while i'm stacking bodies...

Tan is actually all around better at blending in to surroundings than black. Especially at night.

The best color for night time is dark green, dark blue, or dark brown.

Black sticks out because it simply isn't found in nature.

This is why the Army has been moving away from black in their uniforms and such.
