Now we get an RTE - thanks!!

One improvement could be that its possible to write down the height (Z) like "4.35". Now it allows me only to write "4".

Another thing is that if you move object with mouse it goes back to ground level "0". There are some entries in arma.rpt: "KeepHeight: Function is quite slow".

Nice and usefull tool - keep it going!! smile_o.gif

I don't support saving into mission.sqm. My program creates scripts, so you can dynamic create them on runtime.

If you want to add the objects to your mission.sqm, take a look at Low Flys 3D Controller.

Err, no, I made me a note and will fix the in next release.

And another error:

The scripts (created from exported objects) will only work if RTE is installed. To change this add the following code on top of the scripts:

So, essentially this is VBS2's editor made possible in ArmA? Sounds awesome. I've seen plenty of scripts/add-ons out there trying to replicate this, but none have yet to do it with a smooth and friendly GUI interface. I'll be sure to give this a whirl.

Hey man

I was wondering, is it possible to play this online at all? Say like the two of you want to quickly place somthing then quickly open the RTE? Or do you need coding or somthing like that?

The current version on my PC can place soldiers. But I haven't any group management and there are some issues with soldiers I have to fix first.

It is created for singleplayer. You should be able to use it in MP also, but I can't guarantee for error and I personally think that the released version has not the features to be useful in MP. The next release should be more useful at that point.

But: A few days ago I read news about a project with exactly that aim: For the dynamic creation of maps while playing MP.

Pitifully I forgot the name of it, but take a look in the forum, you may find it.

best addon ever! extended event handler (XEH) is used by pretty many addons and makes addons work togheter with less or no bugs and mess. smile_o.gif

Sorry, there is no new release. I still have some bugs inside. As said before: Just a WIP-report...

...with some questions:

Is here someone you uses ArmA Extended DLL?

And a second one: Is there a way to say to a groupmember that he has to move to a position and stays there, without falling back to formation?

Oh, and does anybody knows why the factory in the window on the second picture disappears when viewing through glass? (Ok, this isn't an RTE issue, but I'm interested in an answer wink_o.gif )

wow looks like a great update.

the question to the factory dissapearing is a LOD issue with the glass or something, happend with the humvee windows too. Game Bug.
