annoying faint lines between my imported satellite tiles

Recommended Posts

I've been exporting sat images (tiles) from Global Mapper (v18) both bmp's and jpg's  - settled on jpg's in the end as the bmp's were being down graded to 256 colours.

So I had my 4 tiles each at 20480 x 20480

Imported them into Terrain Builder - and I notice this fine black line in between the tiles, this was also visible when it had completed loading up in bulldozer

Has anyone experienced this? it did the same thing with bmp's or jpg's

Are they grid lines from Global Mapper? Like I said on discord, you can disable it somehow

Thanks RoF - sorry I did not manage to reply on discord I went offline shortly after my post.

These are the Global Mapper (v18) settings:

Grid seems to be 'off' by default, in Configure settings:

And there does not seem to be anything in the export options:

in attempt to avoid these lines, I'm attempting to handle a single image for sat at the moment - but's it's not going well at 40960 x 40960 my machine is struggling - can't open in Photoshop with my 8GB ram.

Oh OH!!! Right there on the export bit! "save vector data if displayed" try unticking it and see if that fixes it
