Make a piece of road render on top of another

Greetings. I would like to have a particular piece of road render on top of the rest of the other road segments to make a transition in the arma 2 editor. So far I haven't been able to figure out what controls whether a road segment will render on top or below another segment so any insight you guys could bring I would really appreciate.
