Why can't passengers shoot out of speed boats?

Its the only open roof vehicle in game where the passengers can't shoot, why is this?

 

Having a friend in the back with the Titan AA is essential for protecting your boat against Jets and Helecopters, so why not quickly update it to allow this?

back blast? What are you talking about, stupid? If thats real then explain why you can use AA launchers on the tiny little assault boats?

Please don't call other forum members stupid, as it is an insult. Please address other members in a manner that you would like to be treated in. Perhaps BIS took the decision that you can't fire from the speed boats due to the lack of cargo space on board.

Backblast is real but not sim'd in Arma without mods. 

 

However to answer your question. The cargo animations were created before FFV was added in an update. So perhaps it was merely overlooked. Or someone couldn't part ways with those nice animations they had made. Either or. If you'd like BIS to take a look at it. Create a ticket on the bugtracker
