HeroesandvillainsOS 1504 Posted May 24, 2016 This has been happening to me a ton recently. I'll be playing, sometimes even for just 10 minutes when suddenly I get forced to the desktop. When I go back into Arma the screen is black, but I can see my mouse and hear sounds. My graphics card is never above 65c when this happens, and all of my other components are in the 20-30c range. I'm also using the stable Nvidia 362.00 driver. I'm running an EVGA GTX 970. i7 6700K. 16GB of RAM and a gold certified 750w PSU. Full specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sBT2t6 This only seems to happen with Arma and it's just awful because I have no choice but to shut down the server and application. My desktop has full picture and functionality when this occurs. It's just Arma that's got no picture. Are there any known workarounds or troubleshooting I can do for this? HeroesandvillainsOS 1504 Posted May 24, 2016 Yeah I'm using mods. It's happening running the TADST dedicated server tool (though it's just me on the server). Could mods really cause this kind of issue? Another thing I should have noted in the OP is that one time when this happened, I alt+tabbed a bunch of times trying to see if the picture would return. Eventually I heard the sound slow down (so I'm assuming my FPS turned into a slideshow) and I crashed with my favorite unable_to_init_dxgi error. But that was after probably 20 alt+tabs. The typical behavior is just for the screen to go black but the game still appears to be running fine. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
