Surely by now this has been reported elsewhere and it may be in an bug tracker somewhere; however since I haven't seen it please let me know if this is the case.

This has being going on for a while.

 

Steps to reproduce:

1. Load up 3DEN and find a closed off location (like a FOB, for example).

2. If the location you picked has any breaches (holes in walls, for example), block them completely with any sort of wall or big HESCO like sand cube barrier.

3. Place a group of units in side picked location, and give them a way-point some where outside the picked location.

4. Preview and observe how said units go through the placed barriers/walls.

Looks like a path/roadway issue. On roads they go through wall, out in the open they go around?

 

edit. but not always... On some situations it's 100% reproducible, like in the aforementioned video.
