[WIP] Static animations pack

@jackfrench Use a trigger to call switchmove. Doesn't work well (if ever) in a units init box.

 

Put the named codes in the on act box and it will fire (don't use "this")

 

 

They look great Direone :) But they seem to be geared more to modded weapons.

Any chance in future we could have few more that fit the current arma 3 weapons?

Yes mate, i think i will make all the animations fit the arma 3 standard weapons, maybe in the next release :D

They are all working fine for me using the trigger method.

 

Very cool poses too and natural looking. 

I'll take some shots of them and post them into the photo thread.

I think they will works well also with the debug console bud, i always use this method when i have to use animations :)

it's a great job, but
Whether by trigger, or the init of the unit,or scripts it does not work with the base game.

I use a lot of animation in my mod JackFrench http://jackfrench.arma3.fr/ mod to know how to use them.
the basic rule of any addons is to work with the base game.

I love what you've done, so I'll use it, when it will be compatible base game

it's a great job, but

What you mean with base game? for me the animations works fine also with no mods. So i don't know how to help you out mate :/

Guys i'm working on some new animations :D for now i have these 4 poses ready

These 3 poses are exclusively made for the CAG hk416 with the vertical grip from the addon of road runner :D

This one must be used with a specific vest from spec 4 vest of cunico because the pose recreates an operator using his radio :)

 

Othe poses is in the work, as soon as i can i will update the pack! :D

Mate absolutely loving these animations! I've made a plethora of screenshots, however I've noticed there weren't any animations that didn't require a weapon. I was curious, when time permits, if it would be possible to make variations of the same animations, or new ones, but without the use of a weapon? I feel that would add heaps more variety and also allow people to place down people without the need of obviously having a weapon. Hope you understand.

 

Cheers again for this mod! Finally able to take half decent screenshots haha

Just for let you know guys i made two new poses that works togheter, both two are poses for breaching situation and one of the two operator have the hand on the shoulder of the other operator like this

Regarding the animation where an operator have his hand on the shoulder of the other operator, here's a pic guys :D

So this one pose with the hand on the shoulder works fine only with the other pose in the pic. For now i have only this two, but i'm working to make more variations of them.

Great idea this mod and not only for screenshots but for adding ' atmosphere ' to missions with people sitting or lying around in FOBs or camps or working on vehicles etc. Thanks direone.

Small update:

 

i've made 3 new poses here's some pics guys

A tactical walk, i have to make some correction on the left foot because it go a bit into the ground and on the hand that don't fit well the vertical grip on the mk18. I will make also different wariations for weapons without vertical grip and for some specific rifles :D

This one is made for the HK416 with vertical grip from Road Runner's CAG pack but i will make also for this one variations for rifles without vertical grip and for some specific rifles.

This one is a simple static pose that recreates a walking animation. It's a bit similar to the old walking animation of arma 3

 

 

And someone asked me if i can make the animations fits the standard weapons, yes i will make it but it will take some times :/ when i can i will work on this aspect guys :D

Made another one pose just a few minute ago :D

 

An operator that hold down a suspect. For this one i was inspired by MOH warfighter

Need a bit of correction on the hand and i have to made a pose for the unit that stay on the ground. The one in the pic is from ICP animations.

Mate is really easy to use static animations just put down two units one as player and the other as non playable unit give a name to the non playable unit like s1 for example and then use this code in the init of the nonplayable unit or in the debug console

s1 switchMove "animation name"; s1 disableAI "anim"

Hope this will help you :D personally i prefer to use the debug console for screenshots
