vScottv 10 Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) Link to a screenie of my issue in battleye cmd prompt, It says "can't get acces to the device, path or file. You might not have the authority to acces the item. "the item" is ARMA2OA_BE.exe:https://imgur.com/ZNa9nyM This is the problem I have upon launching arma 2 oa, can anyone help me fix this? I've tried a full reinstall of BattlEye, Arma 2 operation arrowhead, etc etc. Nothing seems to be fixing the problem I have when I'm launching the game. I just wanna play the game... =/ Help! Noswal 10 Posted July 14, 2015 The best procedure I have found if this occurs (from my XP pc so assume paths are the same) Delete C:\Program files\Common files\Battleye From Steam launch Arma 2 and exit from menu Launch Arma2OA and exit from the menu. (in doing so it should install battleye) Additionally, if still having problems goto battleye dot com/downloads (first post so cant insert a proper link) Download each BEclient.dll and BEserver.dll for your system (32 bit or 64) and note that files for Arma 2 and Amar 2OA are different files specific for each game Search your drive for existing copies of each and replace the correct file for each game.
