My addon adds various new units created with vanilla weapons, equipements and textures (no other addons required). New units and vehicles can be found in the editor as far as new groups corresponding to.

The mod is traduced in english and french with English as default (original) language. If you want to propose another translation feel free to contact me and I'll intregate it in further updates.

Here is the PBO list with detailed features :
Each .pbo is independant and can be deleted according to your desires. BUT some might be dependent on MU_ASSET.

MU_ASSET.pbo
Include retextured assets (with texture already included in Arma3) : uniforms, vests, headgears, bags.

MU_CIVILIAN.pbo
Civilians with randomized gear that don't look like tourists.

MU_CTRG.pbo
CTRG units (britsh spec ops infantry) with black MX rifles and 2 Littlebirds (1 armed, 1 for transport) with grey digi camo.

MU_DIVERS.pbo
Combat divers team for both NATO and CSAT, combat divers are equipped with black MX rifles (NATO) or Katibas (CSAT)

MU_DOC_DIVER.pbo
Medic diver for NATO, CSAT and AAF divers units.

MU_GREENDAGGERS.pbo
AAF special force units called « the Green Daggers».

MU_ISAS.pbo
New faction for OPFOR side called "ISAS" (Islamic State in Aegan See), they are infantry guerilla units with AKs and persian faces. Infantry, offroads, jeeps and static weapons.


MU_LIV.pbo
New faction for OPFOR side called "Livonian Partisans, they are infantry guerilla units for Livonia. Infantry, offroads, jeeps, trucks and static weapons.

MU_MERCS.pbo
New faction for independent side called "Mercenaries". They are mercenaries (no kidding !) using uniforms, white shirts and black vehicles. Infantry, light vehicles and helicopters.

MU_MILITIA.pbo
New faction for the opfor side called "HPM" (Hellenic Patriot Militia). Infantry, marid, gorgon, trucks, vans, jeeps and static weapons.

MU_RU.pbo
Russian CSAT units using the russian texture for the CSAT combat uniform.

MU_SF.pbo
Special Force units (with what look like civilian clothes) for the NATO faction.

MU_VEHICLES.pbo
Various vehicles with textures present in the game files but that cannot be found in the editor : 18 for the Littlebird, 3 for the Zamak, 2 for the Mohawk, 2 for the Orca, 1 for the Strider and 1 for the Gorgon (+ a police officer and a police offroad)

In order to use divers in ground combat operations with under water deployment/extraction (no under water combat). But I precise this is not replacement (vanilla divers are still available), just another option for diving gameplay.

By the way there is a feature I was thinking about :

Add a rebreather vest with modified armor values. But I think that it could create compatiblity troubles with other mods like AGM (in AGM armor values are lowered and rebreathers got no armor at all).

See mate, there ya go, i was planning on doing this, with a Uzi "if i can find any, the brazilian combat divers use the uzi for diving ops" and for adding more bullets into the ACP 2 magazine, there is a bifilar 45 magazine that Para usa created that holds 16+1 , their previous mag was 14+1

A guy I'm playing with originaly gave me that idea and I thought it was a good one.

The reasons are :

- It is coherent in terms of realism cause Tavor rifles are Israeli weapons (USA ally).

- It creates NATO infantry units not using 6.5 caliber.

- It allows a diferenciation between regular infantry with Tavor and maybe special force units with MX.

- It brings some diversity.

- NATO units with TRG are good looking. :p

Something that is maybe not so clear in my mod description :

The goal with that addon is to create units which can be used by human players or as AI units.

NATO tavor units offer an other challenge to players than vanilla ones. (easier)

That's why I also created night and day versions of each units.

If your thinking for this mod is to bring realism to each faction, then NATO - portrayed as US 7th Infantry Division based in Europe, wouldn't even have Merkava, Namer, Patria and other hybrid armored vehicles. America - although maybe crumbling nation in A3s timeline, Im sure can still afford to airlift tens of Abrams into the Aegean theater with their Air Mobility Command capabilities. In fact, NATO should be renamed to US Army as the presence in the Aegis Region is entirely by the US and UK (could be a new faction for Blufor if you're keen) and not the other 20 or so member nations.

The first part of my argument was about to say it is not incoherent. The main part is about gameplay refering to my personal experiences with the game (and with the group I'm playing with).

Furthermore, I agree with what you say about faction's credibility in arma 3 but I'm not going to change it, just (maybe) bring some diversity among the units that already exist.

Ok that's a great idea, I can do that. If you've got some ideas about their gear just tell me. Can you also explain what exactly are you thinking about when you talk about raven PMC's. Infortunatly I don't now exactly what it is.

for gear im thinking something along the lines of:

And raven private military company (or raven security) is i think a scrapped independent faction that probably got replaced by AAF. is that what you were asking?

If raven are Private Military Company they should not wear a uniform with a russian flag on it. I think this texture has been created for russian units, don't you ?

Well they are a russian PMC... idk, im not the one who made them up. i guess you could rename them to the russian army (or w/e) if you wanted.

I spend my last day trying to make it work but I didn't managed to, I don't now why. I added your idea to the list of features but first I gonna finish the other features I planned.

isn't possible the texture .smdi doesn't match the rus.co.paa texture

A lot of things changed in my mind about the addon. I decided to cancel the day&night versions of the units cause I think it's not very usefull and it overloads editor's lists. Same thing for NATO units with tavors but I keep them in a corner, maybe I'll add them later.

I began to work on some mercs units with disparate/guerilla like clothes for the independent side. Maybe some pictures soon. As usual if you got ideas feel free to post pictures.

Thanks to the suggestions of JHard and Zukov I'll maybe try to work on some russian special forces units.

Finaly I also plan to see if it's possible to create some sorts of islamists terrorists units in the OPFOR side (with persian faces and language).

How about NATO troops with black MXs?

Hi ! The CTRG units I made are equipped with black MX's and they are part of NATO troops., If you're speaking about vanilla (US) NATO troops, I'm not gonna make it cause of the reasons I talked about in my previous post :

it's not very usefull and it overloads editor's lists

If you want to play with vanilla (US) NATO troops equipped with black MX's, you can just change the weapons in the editor.
