Wow, great thread, never seen it until now, this should be stickyed in the editing section. I remember finding gunters Arma2 thread and discovering how amazing and deep arma can be, thanks for continuing with A3 gunter. :ok:

Your guy's posts have nothing to do with AI or this list, aziz4ever95 you got your answer on another thread, why spam threads just to get an answer?

The threads is specifically AI only, not really meant for a discussion, but if theres questions about an addon in the list that someone else can/will answer on then thats fine.

Are you using any AI addons, mods, or scripts? need to see an rpt, your rpt can be found here

its a text document, its titled rpt, can be opened with notepad, open it copy everything then post it here

1. if i play zeus (i assume the problem is there without zeus too) and place few blufor and few opfor tanks/cars/vehicles and send them into a village, the AI reacts only if they are very near each other. i mean they shoot each other if they are very near even when they are in sight each other.

2. for some reason, the AI in gunners seat in vehicles are looking in the wrong direction when i send them somewhere. they do not look forward even when enemie is standing in front of them (enemie AI gunners looks in wrong direction too) and then it takes few times for the AI to see each other and react.

3. i never saw the AI using the M5 sandstorm MLRS, sometimes they started to target but only a few times and even then, they dont shoot.

4. when i am zeus and i want to send units (infantry or vehicles) somewhere, they sometimes walk/drive in the complete opposite direction of where i send them.

5. sometimes AI ignore enemie vehicles (cars) and does not shoot them or after about 1 minute.

now my question: does one of the AI mods you posted, fix the problems ? for example faster reaction time, reaction from far distance etc ?

AI stands for Artificial Intelligence, its basically if your not playing againsted players in the game through mp, your playing againsted the AI.

This thread is compiles all the AI addons and mods, scripts ect,. that enhance the AI and make them smarter, or do different things, that make sense?

now my question: does one of the AI mods you posted, fix the problems ? for example faster reaction time, reaction from far distance etc ?

Hi, being Zeus related which i really no nothing about as I never have used it, i feel that it may be some bug or issues with it, i dont think any Ai mod in particular will fix that

issue but i could be wrong, so it may be worth a try, I cant specifically tell you which mod may fit the description that will fix your issue as said it could be a zeus bug or problem,

but as far as faster reaction time there are a few that I could suggest you try, those are the following:

Welcome, that script you linked has a demo mission included, just download put the demo mission/s in your missions folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\Missions

choose the mission and you can see it working, then if you decide you want to use it, then build a mission and put the script in the mission, read the

directions on that page, for questions concerning it theres a thread linked there you can ask your questions on.

Make sure you put the keys from CBA_A3 into the keys folder, make sure CBA_A3 you have is latest.

Lastly please dont use this thread for asking non AI related questions, search through the forums for issue dealing with your error,

I'd like to help if i can but this is the wrong thread for your issues.

Hey there,

thank you for this great sticky!

We, a small group (3-8) of coop players, discovered Arma 3 a few weeks ago and be still amazed...

We want to play a roleplay style game with an active gamemaster in zeus, controlling units etc. on a dedicated linux arma 3 server.

Is there any good combination of AI mods to make the AI behave more realisitic and, more important, less accurate for us beginners?

I already tried this combination:

* VTS_duckhunt, FFIS (doesn't work with actual patch?!) and ASR AI

And for me it seems that the AI is moving quiet stupid, standing around a lot, dont react to firefights etc. while the aiming and the aiming speed still is god like...

Other mods I know of:

ALIVE - Good AI but very hard for small scale coop?

MCC - ?

bCombat - I just saw some videos where the AI is not reacting very well to firefights.

TPW - SP mod only or some parts good for MP?

TMR - any AI related at all?

So what would you guys recommend for us?
