CAF TEAM PRESENTS

ARMA 3 : AGGRESSORS

CAF_AG1.5 brings 3 new factions to the game in 1 easy to download and manage mod ( @CAF_AG1.5 ). Each faction is based on an existing group that have shown aggression towards western powers over the last decade.

REQUIREMENTS - NOTHING!!!! Just ARMA 3!!!!

FEATURES



TESTED AND PROVEN on dedicated servers

Built for and works out of the box with ALIVE

Self contained weapons pack - AK47, AK74, AK74GL, RPK, PKM, SVD, RPG7

Head Gear and clothing from A2 Samples

Custom randomization scripts for each faction and their vehicles

10,8,6,4 man groups for infantry, 2 car technical groups

Random chance of Strela launcher depending on faction

Middle East and African Civilians

FACTION NAMES

Africa:

-Pirates = caf_ag_afr_p

-Civlians = caf_ag_afr_civ

Middle East:

-Tribal Fighters = caf_ag_me_t

-Civilians = caf_ag_me_civ

East Europe:

-Rebels = caf_ag_eeur_r

KNOWN ISSUES

Wounds not showing (yet) on Middle Eastern Fighters



Weapon Sights are very zoomed **but usable in a pinch** (wont be fixed soon see notes below)

NOTES

Please keep in mind this mod is created for use as opposing forces only at this time. The weapons are not designed or tested for player use so animations and textures may be lacking in quality. If you would like Soviet block weaponry please download one of the awesome mods already available.



The team will NOT be taking requests for either additions or "permissions" to alter or add this mod to custom packages.

I wish someone would add some more variety to the A3 civs too! Even if you have to throw a guy in a burqa I sure miss having non-GREEK civs :)

Planned, but not for first release. Already ported the taki females ;)

Awesome! :)

Sucks that the weapons are zoomed in though. While playing, were you never forced to pick down an insurgent weapon because yours was empty? Now i dont care about the animation, but the weapon should be at least good enough to be used for a few minutes.

Cant remember wich other mod had that problem recently, but I do remember that it was pretty easy to fix

it is an easy fix, but at this point the focus is on the factions themselves. they are not unusable by any means, just could use some tweaking.

EDIT: I have used them myself in testing, they are a fine throw away weapon when needed. Plans are in place to fix the "zoom" but not likely before the first release.

Great to have these all in a one stop shop! Seriously will make for some really great Arma 3 and ALiVE missions! Can't wait to try these out!

This was a relief. I wont need to make my own now :)

Also. Have you thought about adding this below in all p3d's geometry LODs to get soft shadows?

prefershadowvolume = 0

Will only work for the completely custom uniforms and weapons, though.

This is great! Thanks for giving us the units to make pretty much any scenario that we could ever imagine. And thanks for not announcing it until you were almost ready to release, any sooner and the anticipation may have killed me. :D

One feature that would be great is some more armoured vehicles... at the moment in ALiVE unless we resort to a stock BIS faction OPFOR units have no armor at all...

Don't suppose you could chuck the odd BRDM or BTR in there with a dash of T34-85 and perhaps a rusty T55 or two could you :)
