[CAMPAIGN] 'F.A.L.L.O.U.T' - post apocalypse - (no addons needed!)

Recommended Posts

Great, campaign that's right, but I am not so happy with

10: Scavengers. It's an impossible mission for me. To begin with, more often than not, the mission will fail because your empty car is destroyed well outside the villages by roving forces. An all out-assault is indeed impossible, because of enemy superiority. Sneaking in alone led me to discover an empty church with no supplies present. I tried picking the enemy off one by one (total stealth is also impossible because sooner or later, you will bump into a Russian when rounding a corner), but somehow they always get into my 6 o clock position and kill me after a while.

In principle, having an area swarming with enemies just after a nuclear strike causes great disbelief on my part - I think the enemy military would be a prime target in any nuclear attack, hence only a few Russians should be left, or maybe even some rag-tag enemy survivors.

@Mathias:

You're right, the enemy presence is way too large. However, the mission could be completed-i had done it before.

Get into UAZ as soon as possible (to prevent it being destroyed by a tank) and drive to the church. But not directly, you have to drive around the edge of the map so to speak :D . Approach to the church is only possible while crawling (unless you wanna get spotted and pierced through by 7.62mm). Use the same approach for other tasks and don't even think about engaging any enemy (you'll only have to take out few "special" enemies in a factory).

This mission was very tiring to me, however, the following missions were great and it was worth completing this one (i hate using skip-mission cheat).

Hey spotter01,

thank you for your comments, but after afew additional retries, my patence ran out. So on with mission 11: The End. Very bleak cutscene at the end, but in between this mission is what the last one should have been: Believeable moderate resistance and lots of post-apocalyptic mood!

Just played mission 12: Nowhere to Hide. Just a short travel mission to advance the story further, but no bugs spotted. Same goes for Mission 13: The Great Escape, which is the shortest mission of this campaign yet. But I do like how you can interact with the NPCs.

Mission 14: Long way ahead turns out to be a pretty decent firefight and village clearing example. No bugs spotted and fun to play.

Mission 15: Last of Hope cannot be solved. The hint about exploding fuel tanks does not work as these prove to be bullet proof - and the gathered enemy forces are just too strong for me otherwise. Cheat-Skipped towards the end credits.

Good campaign, though I have some issues with it, which probably won't ever be resolved, since the author has abandoned the campaign:

1. Some missions are indeed very unbalanced, as some people have already said. Scavenger, Last of Hope, and probably the airport mission are prime examples.
2. Not going to spoil people, but endings are very "meh".
3. Cutscenes seem to drag on, and I think it could've been better if it had less of them overall. Also, grammar.
4. Some unrealistic stuff when it comes to apocalypse: you'll always have your regular M16A2 with 6 mags, way too huge Russian presence, and, of course, nuke explosion distance is too close as well.

Hi. Could someone please provide me a copy of this campaign as Armaholic has been shut down and the mediafire files seem to be deleted?

You would really make my Christmas!
