I started building models in March 2011. As you might guess, much interest was aroused by our subject - ArmA universe :) Anyone here interested in something similar? :) Maybe someone here just builds a plastic models, not necessarily on ArmA theme?

Let's share photos :)

This is the first model i build - Tamiya M113 A1 - which is fighting on the RACS side somewhere in the vicinity of Dolores.

M113 - Tamiya, Infantry - slightly converted "US infantry in Iraq" kit by ICM (my realy first experience in plastic figures painting). Base is made of plaster on the photo frame. Paintbrush.

And this - is the scene from the first hours of operation "Harvest red". CheDaKi SA-13 self-propelled SAM system, which was captured by USMC troops durring their raid in the Elektrozavodsk area.

Vehicle - is SkiF's "Strela-10" with minor upgrades such as detailed operator cocpit and openable doors and hatches. Tanker - is from Zvezda's "Modern russian tank crew" kit. Marines - "Iraq kit #1" by Master Box, NVG mount, EOTECH sight and gunslings are made manualy from foil. Base - plaster and photo frame, grass - the tow (sanitary linen). Airbrush.

Thank you, guys :) It would be nice to see the works of other authors.

Moderators, sorry for the size of some photos. I cant fix it now, because using a work PC without graphic editors, i promise to fix it later :) In addition, there is no huge photos anyway, maybe ten kb over limit or two

Great Models!
Posted Image Master of testing for a better Arma and well, for science.
Teach the AI how to drive. Teach AI Tank drivers to turn their front towards the enemy. Give us supression effects for AI . Make AI ragdoll if they get hit. Give us proper animations for throwing Frags. Give us a proper wounding system. Fix the armored vests so that they don´t protect the whole torso. More Civilian assets. Females. Weapon resting. Give us inertia influenced movement depending on the Weapon you have.

If you cant fix them do not hotlink them, thats what you should have done.
Not having time or tools available to prevent the posting of images well over 2x the limit is a big no and as such for breaking the rules deliberatly you recieve an infraction.
We surely can not have people break the rules and say they cant help it. The end would be near.

PS:
Lovely work, needed to be said as well.

You know you've played too much Arma when... Ha ha just kidding, these look excellent and definately not something we'd expect to see :D

The precision of lines are fantastic, did you also paint the weathering, camo and grime yourself because that is impressive, especially the small chipping along the hatches.

These look great, mate!

I don't know if anyone else in the community does anything like this. You may be the only one posting photos.

Yes, hotlinking images that will increase my download time of the page approximately 1 second will be the cause of the zombie apocalypse. I fully support the moderators in their actions.

On topic, when you talk about the 'TOW' being sanitary linen - is that something you would care to elaborate on ? I'm not sure what you mean specifically, and am interested in how it may make it's way into a model.

What's funny is that i always considered those games the other way around : a way to animate and give a brain to static models and figures.
