--- Overview ---

LEA is a standalone application with goal to simplify the customisation of player's loadout and mission edition. The software uses a full graphical interface and maximum automatised processes to help mission-makers and team players waste as less as possible time in editing loadouts. To do so, LEA has the capability to read and rewrite mission.sqm as well as generate SQF scripts into ArmA 2 mission. The software is provided with @LEA addon for players to make their loadout at mission start-up with LEA whatever the mission running on server. LEA can also help ArmA 2 team play thanks to its capability to easily share user profiles and missions through FTP.

LEA for Players:

- Creation of an unlimited number of profiles see applicable ingame, at mission start. see

- Many Weapon Addons supported, included ACE 2, ACRE, all Robert Hammer's pack and more. see

- Possibility to share profiles by FTP, using LEA Client Interface. see

LEA for mission makers:

- Edition of all units (playables & AI), of all side. see

- Edition of vehicule cargos, ammunition boxes, and all objects having cargo in the mission. see

- Usable with any unit and vehicle addon.

- Quick edition commands by using predefined profile or by quick creation. see

- Edition of Name and Descritpion units attributes. see

- Extraction and Compression *.pbo (Windows only). see

- Possibility to share missions by FTP, using LEA Client Interface. see

- FTP Auto config file generator, to easily share profiles and missions. see

LEA has been developed in Java language, which allows software to be executed on most of the OS such as Windows or Linux, having graphic interface. LEA is usable by ArmA 2 OA/CO players under Windows as well as ArmA 2 OA/CO dedicated server with Windows Server see or Linux Debian see. Installation could be done manually or automatically (Windows users only).

- LEA requires Java Runtime Environment 6 or 7.

- LEA has been developed foremost to run with ACE 2 for OA/CO. However LEA can be used without ACE 2 (see FAQ).

OK, i tired to create a new profile as suggested but it keeps giving error "Cant create Profile!"

Also the option to turn off ace doesnt work, ace weapons are still available, when i unselect it and press close, and then open 'Manage addons again its shows as still selected?

My favorite software for Arma 2, good job Sheppard.

OK, i tired to create a new profile as suggested but it keeps giving error "Cant create Profile!"

Launch LEA> profiles > Edit > Click on units for create a unit profile or on vehicules for vehicules profiles, now you can click on the new button, click on it, put a name with basic characters. Click on the name in the right column and add weapons.

It's work for me.

Ok it works when i 'run as administrator'.

Yup, since this saves the profiles in it's install folder, under Program Files, instead of the user's My Documents folder you need admin rights to save the files. More examples of why no one should ever install anything to Program Files ever again. :)

Doesn't ACE put NVGs in the Equipment slots now instead of in the Optical slots? So you can carry NVG, Binocs and MX2 all at the same time for example. Something you can't do in LEA currently since it considers NVGs to be Optical.

In LEA, all stuff in the "Optical" list goes to the "Equipment" slot of ArmA 2 for both vanilla and ACE 2.^^

Also the CLU is taking up a back (launcher) slot. With ACE it goes into an optics slot. Would it be possible to do some configs for an ACE vs Non ACE loadout?

So it did change place? I gonna look at it. You will have a fix in a next update through LEA Updater.

I don't understand your question exactly. You can configure LEA to be used without ACE stuff (no weapon, Ace Wounds system desable etc) => go Help menu, select Addons Manager and uncheck ACE. Thus doing so you would not mistaken with ACE stuff while doing a profile for example.

This is a great tool. I've ran this tool this evening and found it very helpful for preloading my personal loadouts both in and out of the game. Very nice to have several presets that can be instantly loaded in game depending on what you want to do in the mission. It's also fab that its compatible with ACE, RH weps and more. Brill and thanks.

How are :OA (non ACE) backpacks accessed/utilized in the GUI...am I missing something -because the Ruck list is empty- or is this option forthcoming in a followup revision?

Is it possible to override the Loadout (disabled) parameter regarding assigned AI units in the *.lea.mission?

LEA 1.0 doesn't support vanilla ArmA 2 OA backpacks that's why it is desable. If some are interested I may add the implementation in a next update.

I don't understand sorry. The Loadout is desable when the unit you choosed is not assigned or it is vehicle unit. Please read the LEA wiki ^^
