Naa dude your in right spot this is all about Domination and Evo I44 style stuff. Great work on the Domination also. Reading the changes you made in the code helped me figure some other stuff out.

hello there,

perhaps this is an opportunity to bring things together and to find out from the players what theyd like to see in a dynamic ish mission.

TBH Im not exactly sure if the whole domination dynamic works 100pc with I44, due to the lack of helicopters for infil/exfil and wreck recovery.

Now, as there were experimental helos used by the Germans late war, albeit mainly in the prototype form, we could include them, but that incurs the wrath of the "aufennic" (read authentic) brigade. (excuse my "Sealed Knot" reference). So perhaps not a great idea.

ignore first few seconds of vid though before you turn off in disgust.

anyhoo,

A wreck recovery vehicle could take its place to tow damages vehicles back to base and i suppose the Ju and C47 could directly replace the helos for paradrops rather than helo insertions.

thoughts? opinions? suggestions?

First of all i must say thx for that nice reedit of Xeno´s Domination, nice work Orlok, i love it!

And Xeno...we really miss ya in the mission modding special for the "Invasion1944" Mod. xD

I have a Friend who was hosting this mission on his own PC but we still have a big problem, that smaller the fun. We are not able to revive and drag bodys, we can heal but thats all. :( We really need a version that works with Revive.

The only other issues that we could find are:

-the second MHQ is the wrong vehicle it must be the same as the first MHQ (it can not load Ammoboxes)

-the most Sidemissions are Ok but some have no i44 Units in there

-The Amobox should be the "I44_AmmoBox_G_MP" and it would be nice if there are some (50) shouvels in there.

If there is somebody who read this and have the background to fix this for us feel free to help us.

Hello there,

thanks for the feedback.

Im in the process of re writing the whole mission, hence why ive been a bit quieter this week.

So stay tuned for more updates and hopefully fixed revive scripts soon :)

Hello there,

I probably wont be making a US version as there is a nice one in the MP forum here which is US forces.

Also, im not a scripter I just wanted to get any version of dom out there into the wild. hence my feeble attempt.

Although, as i posted earlier I do plan to make another german version of a later domination, but there's no timescale for that yet.

I believe "Protoype" is also working on a version. so keep an eye out for that.

Just a heads up.

I was just playing on a server, which as really updated this mission.

working revive, no modern ammoboxes etc etc.

Good stuff indeed.

I wont post it here as i dobnt know if theyd want it to be, but keep an eye out for [otea]i44_domination_west.chernarus .

Its a good un.

I'am the one who made it.

I used your ww2 tag for ^^.

About it:

it's a 2.11 basic chernarus version where I put some compositions I made myself.

Flak bunkers on town, with MG42 nest around, searchlights in.

Cannon bunkers in add.

Vocal alarm when you are spotted, siren, during the night all streetlamps shutdown and searchlights are looking in the air.

When town captured, streelamps reworks and bells ring.

On base, 3 trench compositions with "anti air" in and IA defense vehicles.

Revive sounds changed.

You can hear german voices and english too with @Rug_dsai and rug_dsaiger pbo 1.4

Playable by night with an aperture changed and a skiptime after 2AM to 7AM, because of insuffisant moonlight.

All vehicles.

Markers and colors changed.

Halo diseabled in the mission parameters to use autojump with I44 parachute. (red\green lights, sound, text)

etc...

I'am ready to launch a 2.54 OA chernarus version soon.

i definately think Tuti's version exceeds my version in most ways and I recommend you do get hold of it in any form you can.

Post it here when you can tuti, as your server seems to be a french only server (i was asked to speak french only there today) and alot of us who dont speak french want to play it.

Hello all,

Release of [OTEA] Domination I44 OA 2.57 Chernarus soon...

In add of 2.54 version:

=> I44 backpacks (mortar bags not fonctional)

=> Some slots can deploy a mortar with artillerie computer on

=> Grenade in tank script (50% to destroy a tank or get it back heavy damaged)

Not oblige to speak french, but some of us don't speak a single word ^^

Hi, there

- All West AA guns at base now engage ennemies planes

- Trenches and flak bunkers are also removed when town is captured

- Flak bunkers are not longer damaged to avoid AA guns flying in the air

- Time adjusted to play with maximum daylight (always playable at night but no more skiptime needed)

- All I44 backpacks availables

- East Mortars randomly engage spotted ennemies with randomly HE or WP

- I44 colors can be enbled from mission settings

Fixed no more russian crew in seachlight

Fixed deserted created bike are deleted

Fixed town lights didn't shut down properly

Titi this is great nice job!

I have been playing this on my Server and it is really well done! Can you tell me how to recover the Wrecks? They come up but of course no Helo's in those days?

Wreck is diseabled in scripts (marker, trigger, etc ...) coz choppers doesnt exist in ww2 ^^

Sure it's a quite difficult to play like that but i think it's more realistic

Due to my shedule, i am not be as present to script as i would ...

I'am waiting for 1.6 version of I44, if I can do something to improve this domination I will try to do it...

Ok awesome, what folders are those in so I don't have to change all my mission?

By the way I got MSO Ambient Air Traffic to work in your mission, now controlling Faction Airport will have random Aircraft flying around, landing, taking off etc.

Take a look at MSO.

I'am currently working on East and West I44 domination 2.60w since this week.

I'am close to the end... I'am trying to improve many things, bugs, problems found in 2.57.

New compositions for west side defending, (artillery and AA flak nests)

Some secondary missions vehicles are replaced for both version such as :

- HQ replaced by vehicles, now called: find the command car

- factories replaced by MAP_tent_east and MAP_tent2_west, called now: find the enemy HQ

- fortress replaced by MAP_Fortress_02

the implementations of these objects have been improved as I could but that's not too bad, (gradient reduced to find a better place, as you could see bunkers were not totaly on ground sometimes in 2.57)

Now it just remains AA and Artillery radars as original vehicles

Actually i'am working on the mortars artillery script and grenade in tank script.

I 've to works on revive sounds, west alarm sound on main and to control all sides missions...and finally testing all !
