Hi all and good day from Hand of MoscoW ! Or simple HofM.
(at other forums Fugas, in game /AK-47/ ).

Has decided to make known Russian radar installations:
P-18(П-18) also referred to by the NATO reporting name "Spoon Rest D"
P-37(П-37) or "Bar lock"
PRV-13(ПРВ-13) height finder
RSP-6(РСП-6) airfield radar systems

Will be only as static objects, with all animations, for intros, ArmA-movies and missions, but without the direct functions,(im not script-man ) ) It is my first work, i do when there is a free time.

Release:drinking2:-when its done.

Progress:
Main LOD: 80%
Other LODs: 30%
Shadows: 0%

Oh, it's actually quite some time since I first seen it of flashpoint.ru. Very glad that you continue to work on it!

without the direct functions,(im not script-man )


I'm pretty sure there's plenty of skilled guys over here who would gladly help in making this fully functional too ;)

beautiful, for our radars I done nothing more then a very limited range but that it detects airplanes and bis artillery. (Limited because of gameplay)..


not the same type as your radars but if you want the scripts let me know..

bloody awesome, will make for some great scenery setting kit and high value objectives, would also go together great with some of the new Mando Missile bits

Very beautiful, I remember thinking to myself that what this game really needs are some radar objects even if they are just for looks, more support could really liven bases and camps up. Really like the P-11 and PRV-11, will you be continuing with the P-15 and RSP-7?

Some NATO radars include-

ANMPQ-64 Sentinel (75 kilo range air radar)

If you need some high res images of this radar just let me know, I went hunting for images to model this unit some time ago and found quite a few showing every angle.

Another radar is the AN TP-59 (tactical missile defense) http://www.lockheedm...adar/index.html

Again I went hunting and found a number of images from various angles and distances, it gives a good impression of the "shutter structure" the radar has.

AN/TPQ-36 Firefinder (Weapons locater)

This thing has been adapted to vehicles as well as being a static unit, again I have some images of it, not quite as diverse as the Sentinel however.

Will you do something like how the MHQ is done in warfare? A drivable truck, and then a script which swaps out the truck for the static, deployed, radar model when you deploy it?

Maybe it's that the OFP era community has retired and the CoD community era has begun? Demanding 12 year olds who must have something now

@NodUnit, Dont know concerning other radar but while it is necessary to complete these)), thanks for other info.

@Darkhorse 1-6, good idea, can be in the future so I will make, but now i have not a big experience with animations.

Very smezky, might I suggest toning the tire specular down a bit though? Too much shine and it will look more like plastic than rubber.

Looking good, but your normal map y channel is inverted. You're getting lighting highlights on the bottoms of plates, I think. Well, the rivets appear right side up.. but it's very hard to tell what kind of surface I'm looking at.

Lookin good. Id really like to take a crack at making it functional when its done :)

Given a bit of time i could probly write up some kind of system Using the Radars as control stations And linking them to Shilka/tunguska for AA defense networks :)

Mando missiles should be able integrate them all. However another standalone system could also be useful.
