GunGame is a remake of the GunGame mode that can be found on games such as Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Call of Duty and more. For those of you who are not familiar with the gamemode, let me explain! All players start with a powerful weapon, when they kill somebody on the opposing team, they "level up" and get the next weapon. As you level up, the weapons become worse making it harder to achieve victory. The first player to get a kill on the last level is declared the winner. Beware, teamkilling will set you back a level!

It's fairly fast paced compared to other ArmA 2 gamemodes, but from what I've seen so far, it's pretty damn fun! Right now it currently requires Combined Operations (ArmA 2 + Operation Arrowhead) to play, but I can easily make ArmA 2 and OA editions if people request them (or you can make them yourself, it's fairly simple).

I hate gun game in other FPS games but it is a LOT of fun in Arma. :D

Not much of a pvp guy, but I had a lot of fun on the server with this mission.

I love how fast paced and varied the shooting is.

You get worse guns the better you play? And then get a Satchel for winning, surely it should be the other way around :D

You get worse guns because it's supposed to represent progressive difficulty. It makes it more fun actually and then the satchel is the last weapon (which might change :))

I've tried to play this map on your server, but seems that the mission require CBA.

Doesn't require CBA, server will just say you aren't running it.

Yeah, it's definetly fun. Keep in mind I only have 1 map made right now and it is the first release version... but more will come in time!

Anti-Camp script (for when there are not many playing, to avoid campfest)

we'll have to play sometime! I haven't had a match with 10+ players yet

Sorry for the lack of updates (to those who actually care :))

I've just been really busy with Warfare. I'll try to get 1.1 out next weekend. It'll have more than one map to play on this time :)

Time and Weapon sets will be selectable by parameters. As for location, that will just be different map files which are coming as well. I'll even write a small tutorial on how to make your own gungame map.

Btw we do occasionally get a glitch where a player doesnt upgrade his weapon,,,, seems to happen if he makes too many Tk's berfore the first kill.... not positive though...

There will be an update semi-soon, but I cannot provide an ETA.

IF the player TKs too much, it makes them on an independent team, hence they can't level because they are technically not on a team, which breaks the script.

If somebody TKs too much, just have them respawn and it'll sort it out.
