How to config the elevation angle of a bipod?
hiddenzone posted a topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS - CONFIGS & SCRIPTING
The default elevation angle (vertical) of a deployed rifle with official bi-pod would be about -10 ~ 10 degrees when prone, or -20 ~ 20 degrees otherwise. How to config that in 3rd-party mods? I'm pretty sure that, unlike turning horizontally, elevating is not restricted by collision detection, since a soldier lying on the edge of a building with his upper body suspended in the air still cannot aim more than 10 degrees up or down against the platform he is lying on. BTW, the deployed bi-pod is much closer to the ground when prone, than to the objects deployed on when kneeling or standing. Is that configurable? -

two step height adjustment better deployment angles on supporting geometry i.e. ground, rocks and walls etc, both vertical and horizontal thank you

Bipod is the primary tool for accurate shooting. Bipod reduces the effect of fatigue. Bipod does not work correctly, poor mating with the surface and there is no Bipod height adjustment. Bipod limits viewing angles. For me, Apex has died, from part of this problem. https://feedback.bistudio.com/T82167 If this question in the ticket doesn't concern a question in video, tell, I will create other ticket. My look. Bipod should get control from the ADWS keys, to change the viewing angle, up / down and left / right. So far these actions unfasten a point of fastening of Bipod.

Tanoa. Violation of stealth and tactical behavior.
lex__1 posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
The card of Tanoa requires the solution of the ticket. The problem in preservation of the hidden behavior, when necessary to keep the situation "lie on the earth". At night, in the mode of the hidden behavior, you need to keep position of a body "to lie on the earth". Movement lying, sometimes, it can be automatically broken. Roughnesses of a surface of the earth and subjects on the earth. Contact with them can automatically lift up you. Crawling away back "S", you can touch by feet a subject, it too will automatically lift up you. To creep "to the left\to the right" too it is broken. I have to have opportunity to control position of a body. It breaks the hidden behavior. In the mode of conducting fight. Quickly to reach the position "lie on the earth" (attempt to leave from defeat) can be not successful. The contact to subjects on the earth, will automatically lift up you. BIS choose these three ticket problem. https://feedback.bistudio.com/T118468 One more ticket. Too concerns a situation when your presence on the card can be found, the camera the UAV. https://feedback.bistudio.com/T83842 -
Deploy bipod on SUV roof from standing passenger position?
colonelmolerat posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Could it be made possible to weapon rest/deploy your bipod on the roof of the SUV when you're standing up (turned out) in passenger positions left/right 1? ie, rest your weapon on the roof of the SUV when you're standing up in the back? It would then make a pretty nice mobile shooting platform.- 2 replies
