Autumn (recolored) plants

Hi.

I have recolored plants 2 weeks ago:

It's replecament, so put it in some modfolder to not replace originally addon!

Trees looks very nice in north Sahrani's Plain, in north vilages and cities but there are places in Sahrani mostly in South Sahrani where it looks strange (you know - autumn in desert - :/ ).

1. My english is very poor and I dont know it is not prohibited to publish product which is based on BIS's work. I sended pm to Placebo with topic "Contact for Addon Permissions" but there is no response (1 week).

2. Addon has 130MB packed on 7zip so I will need put it on some server*. So if you will want to share this file, send pm to me and I will give You ftp addres*.

btw: http://gliniak.ovh.org/my_files/bis/images/jesien/jesienX.jpg where X belongs to [1,11] contains images with earlier version

*if there will be BIS permission for release this

Nice addon!

I always loved the FDF autum islands for their colour ( Good that ArmA2 seems to be in autum setting by default ).

This will sure come handy especially for those who prefer to play in the North anyway.

So this is "only" a retexture of the actual tree's or did you edit the tree's model too?

There are loads of retextures out already. I don't see why this one would be treated differently

Even your site hosts loads of them from what I remember.

Wow what a great idea Przemek_kondor. I think it would help bring back that OFP feeling! Any chance you could 'slightly' desaturate the yellowish plants?

There are already two plant modifications out for Armed Assault, Lowplants and Durg's Vegetation Fix( ) so no worries - it should be OK to release.

He send me a link to tbe download and I've uploaded the addon to ArmedAssault.info (and gave him a direct download link), I'm pretty sure Przemek_kondor will publish his addon pretty soon

mm maybe some addon makers will use these in some islands in the future, then maybe they can put them in the right places and other trees in more dry places.

I would be interested in trying this addon out on some terrain, are you going to provide a DL link?

Like I said before, I PM'ed Przemek_kondor received the download an provided a Mirror to publish his addon (Because his webspace has a traffic limit).

So if he comes online again, and checks his PM's he'll find the link and publish his addon. (We don't want to create any misunderstandings so we'll wait for Przemek_kondor)

Changed readme (thnx for Yaciek) and when DeadEye rewrite this file, I will give You the link.

Plz don't be disappointed when general result was no so amazing like in showed screens. Original trees were put as always green, so on Sahrani you didn't see to much contrast and now it will appear (and often looks strange).

Some trees should be more desaturate, I know. Maybe I will desaturate it if I will have time.

No worries Przemek_kondor When you have time/if possible. In-game there might be a possibility to lessen an oversaturated image(if they are very saturated) with gamma so, yeah, no worries And thank you

Could we see a pic of the plants in the south/desert area?

This looks awesome, as I sometimes tire of the palm tree desert look..

Just wouldn't mind seeing how the south part looks, as you said it was a bit "meh"

As you can see some places are very beautifull but some forest need more color diversity (little forest near corazol, forest near bagango, and a little for the vine)

But il love your addon, I love the pine textures !
