Royal Flush: How to buy Ammo from weapons dealer ?

Whenever I buy guns from the dealer it seems, he has no ammo in stock for them. Since most of the enemies feature rather standard AKs or M-16s there is no way to supply with respective ammo for the special guns like sniper rifles etc. , did I miss anything in the screen where you buy the guns ? Any answer is greatly appreciated, palomino O.k. ; problem solved ! I just missed the second tab for ammo in the dialog-window; it seems this greyed out colour of the word "magazines" was too bright...!
