    Could you add some higher quality and more modern civilian aircraft in the future? For example, I liked dezkit's Embraer ERJ-135 (originally from Project Opensky), except it had some issues, like bugged landing gear wheel texture, too high takeoff/landing speed and taking damage too easily from landing if the touchdown isn't really smooth. It would be really nice if you could continue dezkit's work on that aircraft or work on other Project Opensky aircraft, as I think those are a bit higher quality than Helijah Flightgear aircraft.

    You mistyped Embraer, it's ERJ-135, not ERJ-200, no such plane exists :D Anyway great news!

    Thanks but could you also do the same to ERJ-135 v13.37 from Armaholic because that's the one that needs editing most because of it's messed up landing gear? I don't think that I can fix it myself if i'm not helped in telling that which file I should edit and that kind of stuff.

    Too bad. I wonder may I have the latest ERJ-135 and CRJ-200 files in my computer as I subscribed them in Steam Workshop before they were deleted? Or do they get automatically deleted from my computer too? Also wouldn't it be possible for me to edit the landing gear of ERJ-135 v13.37, I have what is currently available from Armaholic, so that the landing gear wheels won't move around crazily? I could just use some program like Eliteness to open the pbo and edit the file that has the landing gear settings? Sorry for still going offtopic, but the thread of those aircraft got locked and I really would like to use them.

    Don't say you are not going to finish ERJ-135 and CRJ-200 or at least upload working versions of those planes to Armaholic without messed up landing gear :( I have been waiting eagerly for you to do it since penneyfour added support for those aircraft in his Dynamic Altis Airports script.

  10. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy the mod, I just don't use the '68 US Army units in my missions and instead I use the '65 ones. I know it takes much free time in making such a mod and I am grateful to the developers for using all the time making it for free for everyone. By the way, how much work is it to change 30 rnd mags loadout to 20 rnd mags for US '68 units? I'm considering doing it myself as i'm not playing Arma 2 online much or not at all, so having different files than everyone else wouldn't be a problem.
  11. Yeah I understand it's alot of work to change all the units. For realism, I don't bother if everything isn't 100% realistic but the 30 rnd magazines are pretty big turndown for me. Actually I think it's the only thing that keeps me from playing this campaign. I enjoyed your campaign in Unsung 2.5 by the way. About the editor I use it much in Arma games. Most of my time in Arma games i spend in the editor. And I have made myself many missions. But I haven't never made a campaign. And there's very few campaigns for Unsung mod. Anyway, again I can't force you to do anything, if changing the units is too much work for you, you don't have to do it, it's your mission and you can do anything you want with it. I respect your opinion of course.

For sake of realism, you should use '65 US Army units instead of '68 as the Unsung mod team gave almost all '68 units 30 round magazines for M16A1's in 2.6 and it's unrealistic as I have read from various sources that 30 round STANAG magazines were issued more widely to regular units from 1970 or 1971 onwards. But this is just a suggestion, I can't force you to do it as it's your campaign, but I can't enjoy it in current condition as i'm a bit of a realism freak and I think that the 20 round mags in M16's are one of the icons of Vietnam war. It doesn't feel 'nam enough for me with everyone having 30 rnd M16's.
  13. I thought that Unsung mod was aiming for realism :( Well gotta hope that mission makers won't use the US Army '68 units if they make mission based before 1970.
  14. the '68 US Army units using 30 rnd mags in M16's should be renamed to '70 or '71 US Army units in my opinion because I learned from various sources that 30 rounders were more widely issued to regular soldiers in late 1970's or early 71's and in 1968, they were still rare and almost all had 20 round magazines, some vietnam vets who served in 68 claimed that they never saw any 30 round mags.

So it seems that I eventually have to switch from retail version to Steam version to be able to get all the new A2 patches and to be able to play multiplayer. ---------- Post added at 23:21 ---------- Previous post was at 23:18 ---------- I quickly tried Unsung 2.6 in editor and it bugs me as the '68 US Army regular units have the 30 round magazines for M16A1's. Shouldn't almost everyone using M16A1 use 20 round mags as 30 round mags were rare then? In my opinion only classes like officer or team leader could have the 30 round mags.
