  1. As long as they are dependencies for the mission and not included in the download you are fine
  2. Lol well played EO and Snipes. Gave me a chuckle... One of the many challenges in modding is that there is no way to make everyone happy. Adding features adds complexity and problems at times so sometimes you either need to learn to adjust things to your own tastes and use it privately or accept the mod makers vision for the mod... It gets frustrating, I think , for widely used mods because everyone has a different intended use and opinion and when changes are made... the people who used it with no problem are then unhappy... and it becomes a vicious circle..
  3. I use a script by napalm. When I get it going I will include in that and instructions on what to do so you can do some yourself to help speed it up
  4. If you mean buildings for custom maps or unsupported maps then yes. Buildings are a little more complex because you need classnames and number of building positions and then the type of loot has to be defined for each building type. In that case the best solution is likely a template with updated code and then a repository of the scripts for each map that people can download once each one is created. That way if anyone makes one then no one has to do it a second time.
  5. I haven't forgotten about the script for custom weapons, items and loot for mission makers. We have just been busy on a few other things for next release. Once that is out I will try to get that done and posted for you guys.
  6. "long story short. the effect wasn't a crowd favourite." That gave me a good lol.
  7. No doubt! Looking forward to it!
  8. Okay. Thanks Soul Assassin. I'll give it another go today...
  9. In arma 3 main folder there is a folder called workshop content that stores all the mods from workshop. Most of my subscribed mods are there but the @rhsusaf folder never appeared after steam said the download of 2.9 gb was complete. File size on the workshop says size should be just shy of 4gb in the description.
  10. Sometimes I do that too. Then I unsubscribe and basically use it as a download tool. But in this case after it downloads the wrong file size and steam shows the download complete the file still isn't there... Super weird...
  11. anyone else having an issue with steam workshop I subscribed and just went to load it and its not there... i unsubscribe and resub and it redownloads 2.9 gbs for Usaf but its supposed to be 4gb and there is no folder for it in the steamworkshop folder gone through this twice where it says it is downloading it and i can follow the progress but the file size is wrong and the folder never appears :/
  12. One thing to consider is some people who play SP may default to offline mode like I once did because their Internet download is capped. If you have limited gb per month then the auto updates could result in significant bills. I had to add 15$ a month for unlimited gb because between arma and netflix I was getting 90% used in the first week of the 4 week billing cycle.
  13. I use WW ai menu to unstick units from odd spots. A number of features don't work anymore because WW hasn't been on the forums but the stuff that does work is useful. In the menu it is called unstuck units and you can select anyone in your group or one unit. You can only do it when within 50m of the unit I think
  14. Those pbos have nothing to do with Ravage and are from the main game files. There is nothing anyone can do for you until you are updated to the latest version and it would be wise to do that b4 you post again as pirated versions will get you banned from this forum...
