    Beta 3 bug reports

I downloaded the newest sprocket.exe, and all I can see in my sprocket.log is that the FTP account is not recognized. Invalid user/password. :-( Not sure what's going on.. ---------- Post added at 11:46 ---------- Previous post was at 11:37 ---------- Now it seems to work, so something has changed...
  2. I must say I'm kind of baffeled why there is so little information about the project the whole time. They didn't even put any basic beta state info in the forums, especially when there was a new beta release (version 2). I did get the mail several days after it was released though. It's kind of ironic that they originally initated a public beta project out there, where you were semingly encourage to contribute, and then they were turning 100% silent to the community.
  3. Sounds good! I assumed it was just not finished/properly implemented :-)
  4. I remember in the classic CC you could put them on alert/ready on deck before launching them, and also you could launch them while the carrier was moving. I'm not sure why the latter is disabled, perhaps because it doesn't quite work yet. I hope launching them while moving the carrier will be implemented in the final release.
  5. Yes, and indeed, but they should put a BETA update sticker in this forum, some got update notices from mail, some didn't. Using BETA version references in those update, and of course providing download reference to the latest package should be mandatory. I did struggle a bit to get V2. I, myself really, appreciate this project and is very grateful of this project, as it is a remake from my old, very old, favorite game back in the early 90s. :)
  6. Here, try; http://www.carriercommand.com/2012/05/play-contribute-beta-v2-available/
  7. OK, thought so. Seems not everyone has received that mail. Could you please provide the link, I assume it's not a personal reference. ---------- Post added at 20:21 ---------- Previous post was at 20:16 ---------- Never mind, I took up my old purchase confirmation, and I used the link in the old mail, it retrieves sprocket again, but this time it downloads the beta v2, the old sprocket.exe DIDN'T ;) So just use the old link in your original mail from them, and replace sprocket, and you should be all set with v2. :D ---------- Post added at 20:46 ---------- Previous post was at 20:21 ---------- In the main menu, in the lower right corner, it now states the version number too (v0.7.0912).
  8. OK, but where did you get it?
  9. I didn't receive that mail either. How do you upgrade, do you just start that "Sprocket" application again and download the recent version? Is it possible to see which build you've got installed of the BETA?
  10. Exactly the same problem here. I have a single Geforce 570 (NO SLI) card with the latest stable NVIDIA drivers (v296.10). I have no similar problems with other games. I have yet to try Gazzareth's suggestion though. ---------- Post added at 13:30 ---------- Previous post was at 13:28 ---------- Also, I have a big LCD 30" at 2560x1600 resolution. I'll try other resolutions as well. I ran the game in fullscreen mode. ---------- Post added at 14:08 ---------- Previous post was at 13:30 ---------- Update, I had AA application override set in my Nvidia driver's configuration. I put it to off, and now it works fine.
