  2. The Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) was founded in October 2011, originally known as the 11th Special Forces Group. The idea was to create a small, disciplined, and well trained group of individuals to revolutionize the military gaming industry. The unit is designed based on the organizational structure of the United States Special Forces (Green Berets) which includes small elite teams (ODA) that emphasize the importance of strong enlisted leadership. What JSOC is looking for: The Joint Special Operations Command implies a slow but steady approach to recruiting as we consider the phrase "quality over quantity" to be a crucial key to our success. The unit is based around the strength of the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) eliminating the common problem of having "too many chiefs, and not enough Indians". We truly believe that a successful member of JSOC must be self motivated, highly engaged, personable, and accountable. This is not the place for those who want to hold a rank/title and do nothing as everything is earned through merit and performance. Please take this into consideration prior to filling out enlistment papers. What JSOC offers to you: The Joint Special Operations Command truly believes that it provides the best military/tactical realism experience in the business. We are dedicated to constantly innovating new ideas in order to remain competitive in our market genre. After nearly five years in the community we have perfected an approach that is both realistic and enjoyable. The unit attempts to do things differently than the rest of the community as we provide leadership training that can applied to everyday life, make charitable donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, and allow the purchase of team apparel to name a few. Although, there are ways JSOC provides for it's members those of the unit understand it's about what they provide the unit. Special Warfare Center & School (SWCS): Special Forces Assessment & Selection (SFAS) Warrior Leadership Course (WLC) Combat Readiness Course (CRC) Basic Airborne Course (BAC) Combat Medic Course (CMC) Leader Development & Assessment Course (LDAC) Available Positions/Jobs/MOS: The Joint Special Operations Command is truly unique in the sense that you are not obligated to serve in a combat role. We allow members to enlist for non-combat roles that are just as vital to the overall success of the unit. The majority of units allow their ground combat players to have a DMOS or Secondary Billet. We also allow this, however we feel that for some it can be too much, therefore we allow them to choose where they want to serve. The following are the available MOS for enlistment: Combat: 18B - Weapons Specialist 18C - Engineering Specialist 18D - Medical Specialist 18E - Communications Specialist 18F - Intelligence Specialist 153D - UH60 Pilot 15T - UH60 Crew Chief 19D - Cavalry Scout Non-Combat: 42A - Human Resources Specialist (S1) 46Q - Public Affairs Specialist 31B - Military Police (MP) 35L - Counter Intelligence Agent 18K - SWCS Instructor 79R - Recruiter Requirements to Join: We do not have "minimum requirements" as the majority of the standard requirements are more common sense than others. Yes, you must have a microphone, teamspeak and a computer. The Joint Special Operations Command believes that if you can make it through our selection of individuals, known as SFAS, then you are welcome to wear the patch. If you are dedicated, intelligent and active. The rest is on you. If you think you can do it, then give it a shot.
