    Thank you for you explaining, That probably the problem. Colleville have no "locations" at all and some other maps also. Or indeed not atleast 3 locations. I like that opcom mod simple by it saves me tons of time of editting my self and never playing it or finnishing it. I use it with at the same time with vcom Well enemy do ambushes and or some suprise attacks. So cleaning a city or sector is lot of fun and if you have seen it is a very easy gui to use. From airborne drops to support/transport and what vehicles or not even form other factions. So basicly its a very handy tool. But maps do have to have some features indeed.

    Okay well i take a look at that one. Such a same really because operation command have a really nice and easy gui. But how does that thing work under modules>logics>locations When i use the createlocation command i do get the name on the map but no icon like a city or village or airport etc. I only need to get a icon like a city or village (those up side down teardrop thingy) it seems not too have it only linked to the locations (white teardrops) like i thought before.

    That one i tryed indeed sorry i had to say that what i had tryed all ready. Well the problem is that operation command uses the locations that have the upside down teardrop. Like the ones are in the left bar in eden editor right next to the enteties tab.

Hello, i like to know if there is some option or modules or script that allows me to add locations to the map. i use in general a mod called operations command. it works with map locations to fill up the map with enemy's or good guys but i have some maps that have no locations or towns etc < in eden editor left bar entities and locations, this part of locations are used by operations command> so is there a way to add locations. in game logic there is some thing called locations but i cant get it to work or maybe it is not ment the way i think it would work. <it got airport town base etc>

    Well i fixed it allready. Why the move to marker command didnt work was because the boats are basicly in too low water. So my solution was to use the velocity command (0, -20,0) so the boat got a little push back and in the same trigger i put the command boat1 moveTo (getmarkerpos) "marker1" (i am not on my pc right now) After the velocity push they now go to the marker position.
  8. Hello, I am making a mission involving storming a beach like normandy or d-day. I have every thing working boats hit the beach lowering ramp and the whole group disembark very quickly and not returning to the boats after disembark For the boats i dont use any waypoints but velocity (0, 20,0) command Only now i am trying to get the landing craft go away. First i try it when my group hits a waypoint it go's velocity (0,-20,0) but the boats only go a few meters I tryed to use addwaypoint command but i cant get it working I tryed to use move to marker command Also i cant get that to work. Is there somebody that knows a command or script that works?

Hi there, I have some issue with arma 3 I cant bring up the action menu top left corner while in map mode (m key) I get invalide range error when using support module with the rhs artillery Long range short range different artillery types. I want in my mission artillery support Only when a player triggered a trigger or waypoint. That part i have working but Or i get the invalide range error or artillery says rounds complete but not fired any shell. Sometimes the artillery moves his barrel and say rounds comeplete with also dont firing any shells. And last question. In the past you could click on the map where the shots must fire to. I cant get this feature to work because i cant get the top left action menu to work while in map mode. Modes use in mission Rhs Ace plus ace competible Vcom And cfaghan map

Hello, I am making a mission/campaign It starts with picking a load out (ace arsenal) there is a sniper/marksman Normale foot soldier, granadier etc. Every type of soldier/kit got there own type of weapon so medic dont use the same as a normale footsoldier. So when you pick lets say a m4a1 pip (rhs) Your going to be assigned at nato group 1, but when you select m82a1 (rhs) you join a other group and play the missions that are assigned to group 1 2 3 4 etc And the non selected groups will be deleted (saving cpu etc) So you have a choice what campaign you follow within the big campaign. This is all working fine. But i want something for selection. Some like this : A shooting range with accury targets. (I got them not going down wen hit) when you hit bulleye area you get 4 point and the next ring 3 points etc. (I played in the past a mission that had this cant remember the name) What i would like is the first shooting range the m4a1 range with target in range according to m4a1 and you get 5 bullets. When you get the max score of 20 points you can advance to the next range for marksman but when you only get lets say 12 points you cant advance to marksman but you can advance to medic or granadier or auto rifleman. But when you advanced to marksman range and you succesfully completed that course you still be able to pick m4a1 and be a medic or something So basicly your shooting score will unlock loadouts / soldier role and the missions that come with being a type of soldier. Do anybody knows what kind of scripts i need for this?

    yes thats true but i ask just incase other ww2 symbols are also in other countrys not allowd.. i most definitly dont want to open that can of worms indeed. thats why i ask. other thing i got great news.. about ww2 objects i am uploading at the moment a youtube clip..

    before i forgot to ask.. euhm sounds weirds perhaps,, well i think in germany they got a law that they can not play games or mods with swastika's in it. here in the netherlands we can.. the only think here about ww2 is a no go is reading mein kampf.. otherwise we are free. how in your country richie? so basicly i want to say... better to use the normale german ww2 black and white cross??
