  1. Alright, so finally got the ok to build myself a gaming pc. Coming over from 360 and having never have built a rig before im a bit nervous. Anyways, i'll be pulling money every week to go towards this so will probably be getting a part every two weeks or so depending on the price. My goal is mainly to play arma 2 with all of its mods. Maybe arma 3 and battlefield 3 or 4 if possible with the same rig. Here's a build I found while looking online that might be what im looking for and in my price range (around 500). Just looking for some thoughts or suggestions, really have no clue about pc gaming, building, or really anything pc. 2. Alright, I was suppose to build my first rig but money issues got in the way. The wife wants a new laptop for school but I talked her into getting a PC. Due to financial limits i'm forced to go the cheapest route. I stumbled upon these on ebay and wanted some suggestions on which to get or if I should even order from ebay. The goal is to get a PC she could use for school, but I could also play games. (Arma 2, Battlefield 3) Thanks! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Gaming-PC-WIFI-Enabled-BUILT-FOR-GAMING-/290860142322?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item43b89d8ef2#viTabs_0 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Built-Gaming-PC-/150993213753?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item2327e59939 http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-CUSTOM-GAMING-PC-COMPUTER-AMD-QUAD-CORE-WIN-7-ULTIMATE-WARRANTY-FREE-GIFT-/150995054701?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item232801b06d
  3. Wow, thanks for your thoughtful input. I understand what your saying bout the buying used issue which is why i asked for advice because no i dont know the seller, its from craigslist. Here's the links to some i was lookin at http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/sys/3548732038.html http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/sys/3573803839.html But im thinking i might have to look into the NewEgg option you posted and start lookin around on how to build it. Also forgot to mention at first, trying to play BF3 as well. Is it possibly with what you posted? Thanks
  4. *Caution noob question* Console gamer but have been looking into getting into Arma and the whole world it brings with it. Now my only problem is a pc. My funds are limited to around $700 tops and also dont want to spend too much due to limited playing time. I heard building your own pc would get you the best bang for your buck but I know basically nothing about pc's or its hardware so im not even sure i want to go in that direction. Im currently looking into buying a used pc due to its price range but not too sure on how the pc would perform. So im basically asking for some advice on if i should buy used, or build what i can with what i have? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
