    Control issue on take off

    i'm always using auto hover function at take off and landing.

    Throttle Question

    agusta EH101 has three engines, so I've mapped starters and throttle controls on my numpad number keys, to have everything covered. You only need collective control on the joystick for adjustments, once you bring the throttle to 100%, you leave it there.

  5. I get to the door as close as possible, then start pressing enter and looking around until i find the hotspot, cos sometimes the round icon doesn't show...
  6. That's how it's done in other sims. The game runs on all active displays, but only renders 3D world on the primary screen. I then always drag additional gauges or MFCDs to secondary. I hope this will be possible in finished release.
  7. Try playing with the numbers on the vertical tape on left side. I've managed to perfectly sync my G25 based collective without a problem.
  8. Is it possible to drag the gauges and other interface windows to a secondary display so they don't "spam" my primary monitor?

    Virtual Gauges question

    Besides the lack of inner ear, we also lack 3D! I can NEVER tell when the helo will hit the ground. Some kind of digital radar altimeter is a must have. That gauge would be great, with opacity, scale, position and color options.

  11. I use the autohover button alot. It stiffens the helicopter and decreases sensitivity. This enables very precise hovers and landings. Other than that, they are not that hard to fly, i play in trainee mode with hud disabled. Just keep an eye on your instruments, pitch and vertical speed are crucial. Compared to FSX dodosim and Black shark, they are just right kind of challenge/fun for me.

    It's obvious this game needs some (snowy) mountains for SAR, supply, transport and so on.

    Terrain Detail

    Terrain detail behave really strange. When looking away from helicopter, grass pops up and trees are much nicer. But if i look AT the helicopter, grass disappears and trees become less detailed. Is that some scaling at work i'm not aware of? Even if one pixel of a helicopter is visible on screen, LOD (grass, trees) drops.
