Its too early to put it in the running for GOTY, we are still in Alpha very limited to whats in the game and its the beginning of the year yet. Right now I think GTA V will take GOTY mainly because more people play on consoles than PC, and the GTA series is very popular.

Ah... no. Please show me some evidence of women in firefights. This would just be absurd to add to Arma, a bunch of guys are just going to play as women like they do in many mmos and maybe 1/1000 women would. Leave it out of the base game and just add it as a mod if you want it that bad.

-All weapons, including static weapons and explosives, from Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead, complete with AKs and M4s that you can add attatchments to. -Shemaghs, Kufiyas, Balaclavas - a Islamic Militant faction - Gore Mod (Possible dismemberment, guts spilling out, lots of blood when killed) - Drones - ACE with All of the above^^^

Same thing is happening to me, Arma 3 crashed like 10 times now. I verified cache and enabled the developement beta build in the properties.

It can be a mod, it doesnt have to be a part of the main game or they could still add it to the game and just have the option to disable it. Also this is a military simulator, gore is something that is in war so quit being such panzies about it, its just extra blood and stuff.

Lol yeah have an animation where the two players have to struggle tapping a key like 'W' to fight over a plunging a knife into the other. The person being attacked has less than 2 seconds to react or he is instantly killed.

I will give this a try later, do reload animations and sounds work and are you able to use Arma 3 weapon attatchments?

Yes someone please make a gore mod for Arma 3, then all I have to wait for is a sound mod and possibly ace and we will have the ultimate mil sim.

I dont have a problem with knowing what stance im in, if I need to crouch I crouch, if I need to stand I stand, If I need to go prone I go prone. If a stance indicator is added please make it toggable so for those of us that want more imerssion don't need to have on their screen.

I like the new grenade throw system I can now actually throw grenade through windows and doorways effectively. The only gripe I had was is that key use to be the gear key so I ended up accidently killing quite a few teammates in multiplayer. I don't know maybe they can do something like 'hold G to throw the grenade further so in that way it takes longer.' Its easy to aim your grenade thows now, just start thowing more grenades and learn the trajectory of it and I think if you move forward a little before you throw the grenade it goes further.

Is anyone working on a sound mod? I know its early to have a sound mod because there so few weapons, but that just makes it easy for you. If my memory is correct, there are no sound cracks or wizzing sounds of bullets when your being shot at, it adds to the immersion to have that aspect and I would like it added.
