  1. Hello all! Its me Bakos again! I am here to announce my new team! SMAK Our team consists of many different ranks, and different rules, all in all, our main rule, follow orders, and protect your fellow man! Ranking System: This is where you start your membership into our team! Each rank consists of different rights, and abilities given to an individual, which allows him greater power over your everyday soldier. SMK1, SMK2, SMK3, SMK4, SMK5, SMK6 All these are our different ranks! SMK1: Recruit A recruit is an everyday soldier, new to the team! Even though he is of low authority, he has the right to speak up, and let his higher commanders know what he's thinking. SMK2: Recruiter A Recruiter is a single rank higher than a Recruit. Even though he is of higher rank, he still has not gotten the right to order or place orders to any troops under a captain or co-captain's group. A Recruiter's main task is to help with gaining new members to the team, and will be involved in some decision making when it comes to actually recruiting people. SMK3: Co-Captain Ah, you have reached the rank where your first orders may be given! You are now able to order a group of Recruits and/or Recruiters to accomplish one of the many tasks at hand when it comes to missions! You can tell your fellow group members to hold, flank, advance, etc. This rank tells members that you have shown the responsibility and right to become their co-captain. SMK4: Captain Captains are the heart of every group. Groups are made up of 5 - 6 members of Recruits and/or Recruiters, with a single co-captain, and yourself! When it comes to ordering a group, none is higher than yourself! SMK5: Co-Leader Co-Leaders are very rare to come upon! They are the second hand when it comes to ordering groups to complete missions! They will be rarely seen on battlefields unless they are leading one or more groups, or are ordered by their leaders to accomplish a task. Each co-leader has the responsibility of keeping groups in order. SMK6: Leader Leaders.. The heart of platoons! Each group is assigned to a captain, each captain is assigned to a co-leader, each co-leader is assigned to a platoon! These platoons are consisted of over 30 members, Recruits/Recruiters/Co-Captains/Captains/ and Co-leaders. A leader has the responsibility to complete full fledged tasks that are currently available! Main Missions, side missions, recovery, recon, support, Medivac, and more! These orders are given to a co-leader, which then are assigned to groups according to their specialty. Eg. Recon will be given to light assault groups, Medivac will be given to medical groups, support will be given to artillery and quick response groups, and etc. SMAK: Officer Finally we come to the top of the chain! Officers. An Officer is assigned an army of his/her choosing. Leaders only take orders from Officers. There is none of higher authority! These men will mostly be either the first members who ranked up faster than anyone else, or the founders of the Team SMAK! If you meet with one, please mind your manners. Officers give orders to leaders, which are then completed however the leaders see fit. Now you know enough about the ranking system to join! We will be holding training for new members every day except Mondays and Thursdays! If you are wanting to join, sent me a friends request on steam to the name: RisinAngel Or on msn to the email address: Nandor_97@msn.com Thank you for reading! Sincerely, Bakos!
  2. Hello guys! It's me Bakos again, just with another question about my user made mission editing. I couldn't find an "Arma 2 Editing" Forum so i thought this is the second closest thing to that =) Sorry if i am posting wrong, or if there is an arma 2 editing forum! If there is i'd be glad to repost there. Hopefully i could just get my question answered! Alright so i am just in the process of making a mothership. It already has the exterior hull, make up of 876 concrete blocks(approx), attached to a c130.. my question is.. Is there any script command, OR any way i can make people walk ONTOP of the cinderblocks whilst my mothership is flying? So far, i have finished abit of the interior too! All using attachto command. It currently has 4 floors: First floor: Commanders and Piloting quarters. Complete with 4 washrooms for both men and women. 7 Rooms, for commanders and pilots. Second Floor: Mess Hall/Recruiting/Resting Quarters. Complete with 7 rooms, 1 for each crew member. 4 washrooms, both men and women. Cafeteria with 3 benches to sit on whilst you "eat" or "conversate" with your fellow crew members =P. 2 windows, 1 on each side of the ship, Port and Starburd, 50 ft. in length across the exterior of the ship, by 10 ft. in height. 12 guns positioned in each quarter of the window. 3-AT, 3-AA, 3-M119A1 Howitzers, and 3-D30 Howitzers. Third Floor: Currently in progress. Fourth Floor: Near Future. That is mostly what i have finished! Though it IS hard to do by myself! If anyone is interested in fooling around with a-bit of attachto commands, and help me with the final result, i would be glad to accept and add your name(s) to the credits! =D I'm looking to complete another observation deck, and finally a scud launcher compartment! Name of the ship: Colossus Origin: Earth Min Crew: 3 Max Crew: 14 Number of guns once complete: 12 + 12 + 12 + 12 + 5 = 53(including Scud Launchers) But i am mostly hoping some one in this forum could direct me, or tell me if there is any sort of script or thing i can do to help those crew walk whilst Colossus is in the air. If you want to help: Contact me on msn: Nandor_97@msn.com Or on this forum! Thank you for reading! Sincerely, Bakos!

  4. Hey guys, thanks for reading! I was wondering, if anyone could give me a step by step guide on how to use the Ambient Civilian Module. I have tried over and over again but had no luck on activating it. So far i have: 1) Placed Civilian module on map 2) Placed civilian unit with 0% presence on map. 3) Synced Ambient Civilians Module, to Civilian unit. and 1) Placed Civilian Module on map 2) Previewed. Still both gave me nothing.. Please, if anyone out there knows how to use it! Please give me a step by step guide on how to? Just so i can get this off my chest! Thank you! Sincerely, Bakos!

    Editing .PBO files

That is what i mean! How can i edit the mission so that AI_Disabled is AI_Enabled! Haha so much time trying to find an answer and many days lost =P All i needed was a picture! Thanks you for reading! Sincerely, Bakos ps. Im sorry for all the wrong posts! Honestly am! Don't mean to mess up the fungshwai(sp?) of these forums =(
  6. Hello everyone, i had a quick question. Last time i posted something on this forum i posted it into the wrong place, so i apologize if this is wrong again, seems that this is about user missions mostly. I have recently downloaded a user mission called co40 sparta domination(so and so). I wanted to know if ANYONE has any idea on how to edit the .PBO file so that the AI are set to enabled.. and so i can recruit them ingame. There is a command line in the .PBO file that says: disabledAI=1; Whenever i change that 1 to a 0, and try to create a mp game.. The game crashes on me and says that that file has an unexpected size, it tells me the size it was looking for, and the size the file is now.. Am i on the right track on enabling the AI or are there other methods? Thank you for reading Sincerely, Bakos

Cri74, If you have msn, yahoo, or even just on here, Please add me as a friend and send me a message! I want to know more about this mission editing! Ps. Hey guys!

Hey! Thank you for reading my post! I have a question about multiplayer missions! I have recently stumbled upon an AWESOME domination/cooperative/build a base multiplayer mission called co40 Spartica domination..(So and so) Right when i join the game, it says AI_Disabled_1.09(V1) Or something close to that! This is my problem, Are there ANY editing tool i can use; that won't render my arma 2 useless for joining other games; to change that AI_Disabled to AI_Enabled? So basically my question is.. Are there any tools that won't mess up my arma 2, that i can use to enable the AI in that mission? I hope you guys understood my question! Thank you very much! Sincerely, Bakos
  9. HEY! Thank you for the reply but for the editor part, do i need to just open up the editor, place the "artillery" module on the ground, place myself somewhere on the map, and then just play it normally? or do i need a sync or something?
  10. Hello everyone. I'm a new user so i don't know any sort of slang. I don't normally use the internet except for games. As the title says, Target Artillery option not working. This means that nomatter how high, or how low i target a D-30, or M119 A1 howitzer, it STILL doesn't show the option called "Target Artillery". I tried changing my class to Charlie team mortar specialist, engineer, and alpha team leader, And STILL no option. Is there any class i have to be and anything i have to do to use this option? It worked for the past few days, then just yesterday when trying to show a friend, POOF, nothing showed up. If ANYONE out there knows the answer, please PLEASE, help me. I would really like to get back to supporting my troops on the battlefield, but i cant do that if i don't have proper targeting options. Thank you to anyone who answers back, Sincerely, Bakos
