    I´m a 30 yo guy who plays ArmA when my girlfriend isn´t at home.
  1. I have a question regarding the patch 1.54: When i make a mission with BAF Lite (included freely as you know in the latest patch), it will be compatible with the BAF DLC users. I mean, can i make missions for BAF users without owning the BAF DLC? I don´t have BAF yet, but i´m eager to make some brit missions and it´d be great if i could start right now.

    USRanger709's Release Thread!

    I can´t hardly wait! Names like Sick1, USRanger709, Zipper, Bardosy, or Specialist (and please, forgive me if i don´t mention all the good creators out there) are truly inspirational for people like me trying to make our first steps in the mission creating world. ArmA will be alive and kickin´ as long as there are people like you (and scripters, addon makers, map creators...). PD: Excuse my english, i do my best
  4. ppEffectDestroy works fine, but i don´t know how to detect if the nvg are on or off to create or destroy the effect.
  5. Maybe i can force the player to wear nvg with a loop, but that´s a nasty trick.
  6. The original night vision is crystal clear, and i want it a bit... dirtier. I achieved this with a subtle filmgrain and radialblur effect. The problem is that i don´t know how to disable the effect when you don´t wear the nvg, and it looks horrible when you see the world like through an old TV. I know how to detect if the player has nvg or not, but not if he´s using it. Please, excuse my ignorance, i´ve searched, i´ve read a lot of threads... but i´m stuck. I´d appreciate any help.
  7. The germans used a cap with visor since the early 30s, and was based on caps worn by Austrian Mountain Troops in World War One. It was used by Gebirgsjaeger, Ski troops and so on, and later inspired both the tropical field cap and the general issue "M43" cap.
  8. Top-notch campaign as usual, Sick1. You´re one of my references when i design my missions. I´m not american, but imho the voice acting is awesome! Thanks for expanding the ArmA experience. By the way, i´m having the same issue as USRanger709.
  9. Your script rocks! Only one question: it works perfect with the UAV playing as pilot or gunner, but i´ve tried to use it with the uav module and obviously doesn´t work. Is it possible to make the camera spam when you shot a hellfire via UAV terminal? Thanks again for this script. It adds a lot of immersion!
