And how do you load past save files? I had to reinstall my computer but have backup of my savegames, but that does not seem to work...

Maybe I just can delete the most recent savegame file from \ArmA 2\Saved\ca\missions\campaign and then it will load another file?

Hmm, I play Regular and saved several times during the mission. How can I choose what save to load? It's seems that the only possibility is to Resume.

I was playing just now and got killed, so I used the suspend function to load my last save, then the game crashed to desktop. When I now restart the game and choose Resume the loading screen appears, but nothing more happens. This is a rather long mission and I dont want to revert... Any idea as to what I can do?

Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz I have much of the same hardware as you and the same problem. I disabled HyperTreading, or HT as it was called in my BOIS, and now it's running smooth. ---------- Post added at 11:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:11 PM ---------- The question is what effect will disabling HT having on other programs/games? Anyone?

Something that worked for me was disabling HyperTreading or HT in BIOS.

Thanks for the great response. I've tried everything you guys said, but sadly no luck. It seems that problem is the same all around "the world". Maybe I should try reinstalling the game on another harddisk, not the SSD? (If I figure out how to force another folder with Steam...)

I have an FPS at about 25-26, but the problem is that it's not running smooth, every other second everything stops for a millisecond making it laggy. Have tried changing settings, but no effect, it seems that the problem is the same wether I run lowest or highest settings. Quite dissapoting since I've just bought a new computer with 6gb ram, quad i7 ,HD4890 and SSD disk. Running Windows 7 64-bit. Any suggestions?
