  1. Well if anyone here can recommend an ATI version that works with crossfire, I'm all ears. 12.6 / 12.7 do nothing at all for me.
  2. These are my settings btw Interface Resolution: 1920x1200 3D Resolution: 1920x1200 Visibility 3k Texture Detail: High Video memory: Default Anisotropic: Normal AA: Normal ATOC: Disabled Terrain: Normal Objects: Normal Shadows: High HDR: Normal PPAA: Disabled Postprocess: Disabled My CFG reads: language="English"; adapter=-1; 3D_Performance=93750; Resolution_Bpp=32; Resolution_W=1920; Resolution_H=1200; refresh=60; winX=16; winY=32; winW=800; winH=600; winDefW=800; winDefH=600; Render_W=1920; Render_H=1200; FSAA=2; postFX=0; GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1; HDRPrecision=8; lastDeviceId=""; localVRAM=2113937408; nonlocalVRAM=2147483647; vsync=0; AToC=0; PPAA=0; PPAA_Level=0; Windowed=0; I use spirited machine launcher with: -cpuCount=6 -nosplash -------------------------------- Benchmark 01 Crossfire disabled: 45 FPS Crossfire enabled: 42 FPS
  3. Thanks for the reply Leon. To be honest, it's not the actual FPS that's a problem. With the settings I use, I get around 35 FPS. That's perfectly fine. What troubles me is that when I enable crossfire, my FPS actually drops by a few. I can play fine with a single GPU I know, it's just annoying that there is an Arma OA crossfire profile, yet I do not see any benefit from it.
  4. It should do. There's an arma 2 crossfire profile.
  5. I have a Phenom X6 1055T @ 3.5 ghz, should be fine and other games like Skyrim get a large boost. Baffling.
  6. Hi all I've played Arma 2 for a long time. I have a HD6870 and just bought a second, identical 6870. I'm getting no increase in FPS in crossfire mode, if anything I get a few FPS less. I've tried 12.6 and 12.7 beta drivers, I have the latest CAP. Old drivers were cleaned in safe mode with driver sweeper. In benchmark 01 I get 26 FPS with a single card and 24 FPS with crossfire enabled. I use spirited machine launcher and have tried launching with just the arma2oa.exe. Nothing makes a difference. I know the cards are fine as crossfire is working in other games with a large increase in FPS. Any advice? Thanks

    How to rearm team?

Maybe I'm being thick here but... I'm on the Badlands part of the campaign. My team is just myself and the other 3 members of Razor. Team member 2 (Sykes?) has the DMR equipped and is low on ammo. Because I cannot rearm him with DMR ammo at the NAPA camp, I want to equip him with a different weapon. How do I do it? If I select F2 then option 6 there is an option to "buy weapons", When I click that, the message says "2, buy weapons at that Grenadier" (me)... I'm lost here
  8. Hi all I've downloaded the demo of Arma 2, The full game should be delivered in a few days. My system is: Q6600 (not overclocked) Asus P5Q mobo HD4850 4gb DDR2 Vista 64 Ultimate I'm getting 30fps on the demo's benchmark. Is there anything I can do to improve this? Any reccomendations for video settings? Sorry for laziness just this thread is hundreds of pages long
