I thought that it was just me, but I noticed that when I find out about a major piece of news on the internet, I turn on BBC news and it's talking about something British and/or trivial instead, this only has seemed to be happening this year, any idea why?

Hmm, I still think that setting is too repetitive, is no one tired of just woodlands and unrealistically small cities?

I believe that making it a far more in-depth as a simulator for individual types of tasks in the game would make it feel far more rewarding, and easier to have one team better than the other because of how well they can utilise specific skills, non-combat and combat, better than the other team, and not have it be a battle of who has the best hit registration/PC or fastest reactions... For example, it should be a lot more challenging to use vehicles, and should allow for great usefullness of having a crew cooperating with you, with more to keep an eye on than just controlling the direction that it is moving and firing it's weapons... Also things like on-the-fly sight zeroing for all weapons and their different scopes/sights, in depth medical assistance with more to it than a click of a button and a backpack system where you need more than just weapons brought along with you and have to be careful about weight and right amounts of ammo/gear, or maybe even food? Things like these would really add to it being hailed as a great combat simulator...

I really don't want a Eastern European setting, just because thats what the devs are accustomed to, and we've already seen the picturesque setting for two games, we don't need another. We need bigger urban environments, different types of settings like desert, artic or perhaps large cities, not just places that the devs are in love with...

There's two teams working on the two different things so the work is spread out well enough anyway.

Hmm, who else is with me that we need a totally different setting, it seems that BIS devs are obsessed with cold wars and communism, If you're going to have a US vs Russia why not have Russia invade the US? Would be better to see other units aswell as US and Russia, what about China, Iran, United Kingdom, Canada, Korea, Israel e.t.c? We need more urban/desert environments, a setting like Iraq or Iran perhaps, but thinking about it some of BIS are properly too OTT politically correct to even consider it, which is a shame as the places in the world where it would be sold don't censor as much as where they come from e.g. Germany...
