    Hi Fleigerhorst It can be helpful to leave what you had written in the original post - then others who have same issue may find solution/advice. And even post what the solution was. My post is not a criticism just a suggestion. Glad it is solved anyway.

    I bought a used laptop, just for games, with same specs as Mattius. TOH plays well. Acer Inspire i5 M430 2.27Ghz ATI Radeon HD5650m 4g RAM Resolution - 1366 x 768 Texture/Objects/Terrain/Shadow/Antialiasing/Post-Process Effects - high/normal Visibility - 12000 Object View Distance - 5800 Traffic Visibility - 600

  5. Thanks everyone for quick replies. I went to the updated mod guide for TOH - I understand. I will use the line to disable startup screens. And I think I will try using the expansions menu. I have DVD version.
  6. Hi Jedra. Thanks for explaining why it is not advisable to copy pbo straight into the Addons folder. However, I don't understand " Launch the mod with the "-mod=@JedraMissions" switch". Could you explain wher this must be added. I am sure many others will dl your TimeTrials - they give a great sense of speed and proximity. AND the trials actually help with gaining control skill of the helos. So good for training.
  7. No, it happens when no other in the helo and I have use of all other controls. thanks. Looks like I will have to try reinstall - seems no-one else has had this problem.
  8. Just copying the actual jedraMissions.pbo into the TOH Addons folder also places these trials ready to use and individually selectable from Time Trials menu. Thanks for making them available. Good challenges with only metres to spare.
  9. As stated the helos will often go into a kind of autohover. It is not exactly the autohover because I have no forward/backward pitch control that autohover still has. When I check the action menu up, autohover is NOT turned on. If I turn it on and then off it does not solve the problem. If I close the mission this does not solve problem. Closing TOH usually solves the problem. The problem occurs at start of mission or after respawn from a crash or if I have exited the helo. I have calibrated the joystick, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
  10. Hi CHN I got the same message too. My problem was typing the number 0 as the letter O So check for any O/0 B/8 l/1 in the serial key. There may be other letter/number combinations that look similar. If this does not work goto securom.com who have the activation server for this product. They also have a faq which talks about that error message. If that is not the problem then you can to send them a help message from their website. And look carefully - AFTER reading the faq AND checking my serial key, I sent a help message to them but then 2 days later I noticed IDOD have a 0 in my serial key! :icon_rolleyes:

    My laptop is the 2nd Dell that I have owned and both were quite good for gaming. For the price they seem to have better specs than other brand laptops.

    Thanks Mattius. Your system specs and results with TOK have been very helpful. I am about to update my laptop. So I can have some idea of what I will need. Med/high settings will give good enough graphics and scenery.
  13. Thanks. I posted mainly to verify that I was entering the correct number. I have contacted Securom (they operate the server that verifies activation) and they have requested an image of my Installation Key. Their website is very helpful with faqs that cover some very specific problems including the error message I get.
  14. Just bought the DVD box version. After install I am asked to activate online with the serial number. I can't find a serial number so I entered the Installation key, on the back of the manual, that I had to enter for the install. But I get a Failed Activation message: "Activation process has been terminated. Pease make sure the serial number has been entered correctly . . . . . . . The serial was not found in the database. . . . ." Is the Installation Key (for installing game) the same as the Serial number (for activation)? I included the dashes between the character groups and also did it without the dashes. I also did a complete reinstall. Note that the error message above states the number I entered was not found in the database.
