  1. Hey Guys looks good. I use to work on the Unsung Mod a while back. I was contacted by Bigstone and Savage regarding obtaining past work. I've had some computer issues the last while and finally got it sorted and located all my mod files binned and raw. If you guys are still interested let me know where I can send them, they will be huge files mostly plants and islands. Cheers

  3. I'm thinking of moving it to A3. Gives me a reason to save my pennies and grab the game.
  4. I've been throwing the idea of building a non Vietnam island for a while, and have come up with the Korengal valley and surrounding area. This valley is in the Hindu Kush, and will include the neighboring Valley where Seal team 10 and the Sheppards met. I've noticed that others have made up the KOP, Restrepo and missions that took place but lacked the actual terrain. If there is any interest in helping with this island, placing the vills, roads etc or making missions to move it along let me know, my time nowadays is limited I can do everything but it might not see the light for a while. Or I might just move it to A3, if there is any interest for A2 I would like to hear it. the island is currently in V3 with just initial sat and mask.   6. I've been away from the Mod for some time, I downloaded 2.5 and have been running LRRP missions into lowlands. Sav I have to say you took the ball and ran with it, Great Job!!!, I found an old HDD with a bunch of my unfinished projects one was Khe Sanh with new veg, hill 881 N and south with 861/a are finished etc. If you want it your more then welcome to it you and I where working on it a few years back. Anyways great work guys.

    ARMA 2 Patching FAQ

    As the title states, editor worked great before the last patch now it wont save the mp/sp missions, I've searched my entire HDD and have not found the pbo files. Has anyone else had this issue, I've tried reinstalling...both times is says install successful. My only option is to remove the program and do a fresh install without the latest patch. Cheers

  9. @ SigintArma Okay I understand what your looking at. That is and easy fix basically the terrain wasn't cut at the edges so the engine extrapolates / stretches the terrain, it's an easy fix for the mod team to remove that issue, thanks for pointing that out. @ Wurschtie My bad I thought I got all the texture errors out of Dong Ha. I'll have to do a more thorough chk. Cheers. @ bas44331 Dong Ha was designed to facilitate a large mp gaming format, basically the NVA take the vills and hold. the US BASE would be on the South across the river the NVA could be in the northern vill area. I didn't place any bases, strong points, trench lines etc, as that would limit the usefulness. I ran out of time to make any mp missions for it, I'm also not a rockstar at making MP missions so it would take some time, feel free to make them. @ CHB68 the organization of the release into proper folders was my error, by the time I realized the error the mod was already uploaded, I wasn't going to go through another 30 hours of pain reloading the release, simple instructions can be made to insert the mod into the game, these have been done. I'm glad to here that ppl are enjoying the mod. The feedback of bugs are very welcome.
  10. @ Sigintarma if your talking about the terrain in the distance this could be the BI synth terrain enabled. but to your question that the areas are similar, isn't accurate. We used the actual SRTM converted into DEMs of both geographical areas, Plei Trap and Ia drang valleys are very different, but if the BI synth terrain is enabled the topography in the distance is the same, but you would be chasing rainbows if you tried to get to it.

  12. We do have some missing files that are currently being uploaded that will fix the dong ha and SEA missing objects errors we will be including the sever key in this patch. it is almost finished uploading, PGI will be making the announcement shortly
  13. Bikey was missed but it will be uploaded in a patch including island fixes for SEA and Dong Ha
  14. @ Old Bear thanks for reporting those errors, I have a fix that I can release as a patch, I think the problem is related to adding the CA configs folder into the root of both the dong ha and SEA maps. I am testing now. where are you locating those rpts it's been a few years since I looked at them and cann't remmeber where they are located ...having a seniors moment.
