I have done some searching and have not found anything regarding being able to use OFP Player ID's for ArmA. If this were possible it would save alot of redoing of squad xml's. What does everyone think? Would you like to carry over your OFP player ID or do you think a fresh start is better...??

So does that mean even though you use the argument "-config=server.cfg" it still only uses those values from the flashpoint.cfg or does the arguement overide that? -
I know this isn't VBS troubleshooting but i could think of no where to put this. I have just installed VBS1 and everything works fine except for 1 thing. The voices don't work. At the voice selection tab when you select a different voice you can see the guys mouth moving but no sound. When you give an order in-simulation eg "Return to formation" the simulation locks up and it requires a hard reset. I am using an Audigy 2 card but it doesnt appear to be hardware related. I have no problems at all when i am using OFP:R. Mod: If there is a more appropriate place for this please redirect to there. Edit: For a quick fix, i have dragged my OFP voice file to the VBS1 dta file. Seems to work ok now Cheers,

Yer, i've already forked out my not so hard earned cash for this and am anticipating the post man at any time.....The weapon models look great and am looking forward to the challenging AI. I just hope the physics of the aircraft and the realism of the weapons are up to scratch. Looking good though....

Found a real bad exploit in regard to custom faces. After the faces are downloaded into the tmp folder, these can be easily replaced with a face of your choice. It doesnt take much figuring out to realise that that can be with a bright/fluoro color. I think this needs to be addressed fairly quickly.... Also if a player doesnt have a custom face you can make a folder up and put 'force' a custom face. So even if the server doesnt have custom faces you can still force it on the client.
