What is the FDF mod for sound? I have found the "Finnish Defence Forces" Mod - is that it? Does this contain some improved sounds?

Ok, check this out unless you already know about it. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=36992 So it is a problem with OFPRes that just happens to become more obvious when using the ECP. Well that sucks. Now I know the bliss of the ECP it will be hard to go back to not using it. Pretty much a game killer. Maybe it's just be but OFP has always given me more problems than any other game I've ever played - by many orders of magnitude. Still rocks tho.

I'm getting pretty much the same problem but I haven't looked at the rpt file. Yes I have a soundblaster 5.1. I'm really getting both of your problems. I get regular ctd's (haha every 30mins - try every 5mins!). Up 'til now I suspected my motherboard so I'm about to install a new one so I'll see. The other problem with being unable to save I suspect is something to do with the ecp. I'm unable to load a game saved while playing the ecp version using either ECP or plain OFPRes but if I just play normal OFPRes it's ok. A real pain as I really like the ECP, which by the way, is the Dynamic Range Sound ECP. I'll try lowering my RAM and AGP speed to see if that makes any difference as well but man, OFP is a buggy game. I'd give up if it wasn't one of my favourites.

I'm getting simialr crashes, and yes I have a Soundblaster Live. What does that mean? I had problems with the updates (sound.pbo problems) which I hear can be cuased by SBLives, but I got them working by disabling DMA and lowering my RAM and AGP speed while I installed. What else is the SBLive responsible for this time? I can barely play for 5 mins before i get bluescreens.
