Firstly WHY are you using fraps during armamark2 ? Stop it. Secondly I have a 512Mb 4870 and have no problems. What you have to do is run armamark2 TWICE ... first time loads the textures, second is more realisitic. Check out my specs in the armamark2 thread...... 4788 score by the way !

Why are people obsessed with THROUGH THE ROOF FPS ? The game is superbly playable at 25 FPS. I reckon you should just get on and kill some OPFOR troops :)

This looks like you have a dodgy language patch ! Or as Myke has said it's your MipMap level.

Its got BUGGER all to do with post processing !!! You have pressed N for nightvision in the UAV ...... go back into it .. press N again then HEY PRESTO..... fixed !

You know sometimes I just wanna give these whiners a slap ! If you don't post your system specs and give details of what drivers you are using how can you expect that we or BIS will be able to help. There is so much moaning, and whilst the community wants to help (and BIS of course), there isnt much we can do to help. When people post a fix they don't approach it scientifically - checking that ONE fix made the difference. What I havent seen is 'I'm using XXXX graphics card, using YYYY drivers and I have found that I get ZZZZ problem - I then changed to QQQQ drivers and it disappeared. OR they are overclocking their system OR (perish the thought) their system WASN'T stable before they started! How many of the moaners have a stable system and tried SiSoft Sandra tests or stressed ALL the cores ? Not many I hazard. Take home message - we ARE willing to help. We DO listen. Just don't piss us off with constant base-less moaning.

Just get good AA defence in asap and spread out. Plenty of manpads too .... that ruin those expensive choppers ' day :) As soon as a helo pops above the horison NAIL IT!

Just go into the editor and make it yourself. Press F2 for groups, F4 to give the commanders waypoints heading towards eachother, add in the dispersion mod for prolonged battles and away you go! Total carnage, total fun.

So your processor is liquid nitrogen cooled to get close to 6GHz ? IF that is true you will have no problems with A2 ! Get more RAM however - I'm surprised you are running ANY operating system !

I wonder if the SecOps modulecould be modified to satisfy this need? Change the scenarios presented with other desired ones and have triggers that 'count' how successful you have been (were you discovered? how many dead/deaths? how much ammo used ? etc) Just a few ideas.

Interesting one this. Even with vanilla install I sometimes dont get the action menu. Anyone find this? Anyone got a solution that isnt 'reinstall' ? Thanks

My quad core is doing rather nicely thanks. It is an OCd i7 920 @2.67GHz up to 3.9GHz. With the exception of a little texture flickering and VERY slight (milliseconds) stuttering (due to HDD reads) the game is PERFECT in every way. Hell, I haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do. Go on ... squeeze your processor!

There is a YouTube video with over 1500 AI without slowdown ... I don't think number of AI are a problem with multicore processors :) I myself have tried 3000 AI and have found that only initially do I get 6-7 FPS but that soon subsides (after about 20 seconds)

Now all we need is a way to change the autobrightness :)

My only little gripe with the new command system is that I DON'T WANT it to be toggled ! I just want it that when I press and hold I give orders and release it is removed. However, if I press and release I have to press again to remove it ...... told ya it was a LITTLE gripe :)
