As of tonight's dev branch upload I'm getting full game crashes every time I try to load a saved game. Also I'm finding bushes keep blinking in and out. When they disappear, the sun shines through as if the objects are simply not there. Then they typically reappear within about 1 second.

Funny. I've been killing virtual enemies and having a hoot for months now. I expect this to continue for a very long time. For less money than a meal out, I personally feel I got my money's worth, and some.

Mine also seems better, but at the same time I updated my AMD drivers to 13.10 beta (from 13.8 belta1) so that confounds the interpretation (game patch or beta drivers?)

No wonder they drive like maniacs on the continent. I put the hatchback on the main runway and was doing 280 km/h in under 5 seconds!!!!!

The problem with removing the wrecks to make the island more "neutral" is that you would logically move on to removing all the collapsed houses, then maybe most of the building sites, then.... However, I agree that toning down the number of wrecks might be a good compromise.

Digging deep into the back story, writing some fiction for it, and basing a tabletop roleplaying game on the computer game setting (using The Company) would really add legs to this game. Consider me interested.

Played a steamworks game last night where the AI fell off the breakwater into the harbour because of this issue. Is there a ticket for this we can vote up?

Thanks, I'll try that. The hover in one place is to set up a fish-in-barrel situation whereby one can practice gunnery at a distance.
