    Stopping to Reload

In RL who pulls out your riflle for a second after you look through your binoculars when you go to use your pistol?

Hmm, not sure but maybe you might want to make sure your recording device is still set to use the mic in windows. It could have switched to wave of something like that and creating some sort of feedback. Sounds like you may have already looked at obvious things like that already though. TS works ok if you don't start arma and you can commiunicate ok and all? I know the sound though. I use Roger WIlco and I had to shut it down when I started games with starforce protection or I would get squealing sounds like that. I had to start Roger Wilco after I started the game. But I haven't had those issues with the Securom protection.
  3. That's such BS that your not supposed to install on differnt machines if you only play on one at a time. It's almost as bad as me having to have seperate insurance policies on each vehicle I own when I can only drive on at a time.

Custom Sounds using ArmA's stock sounds.

I added some custom sounds but not a face since one of the stock faces allready looks like me :-) I didn't know about the custom sounds causing lag issues though. I don't use them that much, so now you got me wondering if I should remove them?

It's really worth it though. It makes it really immersive and helpfull just moving your head to look around. THe Proclip is a powered unit that clips on your headset that has LED lights on it instead of using a clip that goes on a ballcap with refelctive tape. It's a bit more stable then using the reflective clip option. You can turn off the recieving camera's infered iluminators and you don't get hathead.

    hardware support

I get the same problem and not only with ArmA but many games. I think I only have a few later games that actually don't give me problems like this when tuning on hardware acceleration in the game. I'm using an Audigy 2.

    Teamspeak issues

I'm not sure what caused your problem, but you can try forcing DirectX sound or OpenAL sound by adding the following commands to your startup icon. -dsound         Use DirectX sound. -openal         Use OpenAl sound. Just right click your icon for ArmA and select properties. In the target box add the -dsound or -openal  to the end of the line. It should for example look like this I:\ArmA\arma.exe -nosplash -dsound Notice in mine I have ArmA installed on my "I" drive and I also have -nosplash in there as well so I don't get those startup splash screens. Try both of the sound drivers and see if either one works. It will only follow those commands when you use that altered icon and not all the ArmA icons you may have in other locations. I'm also curious if you tried starting TS after starting ArmA if you get the same problem.

How to kill enemy when unarmed.

I noticed this the other day playing evolution and I was stuck in the spawning building because a guy wouldn't move. I tried to go prone to get around him, and he died.

    FPS stuck on 60

Can you actually notice a difference yourself or just see higher numbers now? I mean, at 60, you should take advantage and crank up the settings and be happy to get in the 30's which should not affect your gameplay any but have it look better. It's kind of a waste to get those high framerates if you don't have everything cranked up, because you really shouldn't be able to see the difference in framerates with the eye, but you could see the difference cranking up the graphic settings.

    Super Ai Option?

I think he was asking how expert AI are, not normal ones.
  12. I think I loved the ability to haul things around the most in BFV with the choppers. That was more fun then killing the enemy for me. Shame they never implemented TrackIR support. Plus there were just too many gunships in BFV making life a drag for the grunt sometimes.

Is the horrible vehicle steering optional?  UGH!

I use my joystick to steer the vehicles. But there is something still weird about the way they handle. It's like there isn't much response near center and it isn't until you give almost full deflection then suddenly you get a ton of steerage. This causes you to oversteer very easily.

    Delay in movements

You have to use fast forward in a crouch. Not just the normal run. Every time I get about 3 strides after letting go. But several seconds, that does sound like something different.

    Equipment

I use a Thrustmaster Cougar Hotas with Simped rudders. A TrackIR with ProClip. I'm a lefty so I have my mouse on the left side and the throttle sits in front of my mouse pad. Having the mouse on the left has been an advantage in flight sims as I can use the mouse and joystick at the same time comfortably. I'm not fully left handed as in a negitive of a right handed person. I still do most other things with my right hand like right handed people, so the joystick on the right is comfortable for me. I guess you could say I'm somewhere mixed up between right armed and left handed.
