How Do I Host a Private Server on Arma 2 OA?

Hi folks, Its 2017 and me and my buddy are trying to play some Arma 2. No internet servers are available. Also he hosts with 2302 open. And I tripled checked IP. I click remote, enter the info and no server. Any ideas?
