If you don't like it i can understand. But from there to say its AWFUL and U NEVER wanna see it back, take a chill, cause u clearly have people who wants it, liked it, and used it. And yes you can zoom out and move ur head and what not, but every time u jump in the heli you will have to modify and u will never have the same reference, since you manually ajust it everytime...(and zooming full out, distorts the objects too, especially when u land...) Anyway I dont wish to argue with you on the validity is the 1st person FOV. You can go back and read all the others post. GL

LOLWUT? he is clearly talking about the fact he wants dynamic FOV back in 1st person...as a lot of other people around here. He most likely only flies 1st person. which i do too personally and a lot of other people, some of them finally showing up that wants the speed regulated FOV just like in the mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=945864264 that @oukej did for us. which works fine, but its not like we can use it everywhere.

So wait? you put camera back to 1.68 and u didn't fix the 1st person? Well i appreciate ur Mod, but please equal treatment.... to 1st person too. Cause with ur FoV mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=945864264 we can finally fly again in local, but totally locked out of servers. Dont leave us apart please...

@oukej Thats good news, i suppose?? Not sure about this but: " Tweaked: The default FOV in helicopters was increased to 0.9 " meaning we have dynamic moving FOV back too? plus when u see the Dev Branch build being 6.5Gb well i guess i wont test it then >.< potato connection....

@frankfranconi If you read trough the topic this had been partially discussed, @oukej came up with this : (which fix that problem too) which is working wonderfully for my friends and I. Hope this helps. Of course its a mods, Hopefully we will see it as game option so we can use it on other people server too. regards

@oukej thanks A LOT for this, this is exactly what i meant and needed. Personally this little mod fixes it for my friends and me, since we fly privately in dedicated servers. Would be awsome to see this as option in the game, to use it in normal servers too, but this alone is DIVINE for us. Thanks A LOT!

This was probably the BEST analogy on this thread so far. For the regards of the camera discussion and the rest. As I have expressed some disappointment towards @oukej response, If you weren't mocking us, well my apologies but that's how my little community following this thread and me, perceived it. Anyway in that answer you gave was totally out of question, let me quote myself here: Keywords here was "IN MY GAME OPTION MENU". And the answer is: there is not one. But its fine, we working towards the solution here. The fact of people liking the 1.70 camera of helicopters, (Must agree with jets the camera does a good job). its something that i can Understand, lots of people with different points of view, but its somewhat kinda disturbing, we had literally people puking all over the place with that camera, BUT THEN, YOU ARE TELLING ME, that the FOV movement in 1st person (PRE JET-DLC) was making people sick, I looked around, found NOTHING, never heard any feedback about it EVER. Please provide. The solution here is easy said, give Us an option for the PRE-JET dlc both 1st/3rd person camera. Easy done? maybe not, You guys must certainly have an amount of resource to allocate, and again, this is me, and friends of mine, we went from playing 50hours a week of flying to 0h cause of your new 1st person/3rd person. I`m trying to prove a point, you can say all you want about people playing Altis Life, Koth and those "arcadish" way of playing the game, ok we are not Mil-simmer, but this game is this famous because of those Arcadish mods, when Streamer like Lirik played altis life and had 40k viewer and arma 3 was the first game on twitch, you wouldn't see ANY stream on milsim with more then 500 viewer. So yea you can alter the vanilla game for the Simulation, but im pretty sure the biggest population of this game is all other mods that have nothing to deal with Vanilla arma 3, but the part of arma which is more arcadish, MAYBE im wrong, WOULD LOVE to see the actual data. Anyway hoping you guys can bring arma back. Regard

Really sad, as a customer to be treated like this. @RacerX @Misconductsummed it up pretty well. You have a bunch of unhappy LOYAL customer, who bought your products not even for the 3 jets or for the couple of extra weapon or helicopters, cause this game runs on MODS, but TO SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR DEVELOPMENT! And this is what we get, a slap to the face, consisting in some sarcasm of putting 2 lines of codes and basically say good luck. We coming to your website giving you some negative feedback in the interest of the game, and our game experience. Negative feedback isn’t always easy to deal with, I get it, while it’s much more comfortable dealing with compliments. Even if feedback is negative, customers are engaging with you. If they didn’t care, or it didn’t matter, they wouldn’t bother. Also, the fact that people leave negative feedback doesn’t necessarily mean that you are in the wrong. But if you are wrong, you’ve been handed a golden opportunity to get it right next time. Just look at Star Citizen development, look how open and involving their player base into feedback. Anyway this is going beyond the Camera, because this doesn't only consist into the camera, we talk about a lot of stuff, VTOL, Lunchers and so on and going totally off-topic, but some friends that i speak to on a daily basis and we used to fly EVERY SINGLE DAY, and we didn't touch arma since the update, showed me how this is getting upsetting. He said it, the same exact thing is happening to me, but 1st person wise. And the excuse of people getting sick, its a poor excuse, I have a friend myself who is getting sick with ur 3rd person, after a couple of hours of adapting he is now fine. Please link me some of those complaints of getting sick, I looked around on the forums i couldn't find them, I would love to see the arguments of those people. Instrument wise, you could move ur head to see them just like you have to do now, Plus the fact that you removed it, not even true, its still there its just been adapted to jet, so in the helicopters that have a small acceleration its not moving that much anymore. The fact that you clearly deny to make it a feature just makes me even more upset towards you. I AGREE AND UNDERSTAND ON THE FACT THAT SOME PEOPLE MAY NOT LIKE THE FOV CHANGE, but you cannot deny other people who likes it from using it. You have tons of config options, and those option is one more thing that makes ur game amazing, what big of a deal is making this one too? please.

If you are referring to 3rd person camera, MAYBE. But 1st person with this update (POST JET-DLC and now still) its utterly disgusting, the head doesn't move at all (or just a touch), you jump into the helicopter you are all ZOOMED into the canopy, you have to manually zoom urself out, and ofc when your FOV is fully out, you cannot perceive the space around you properly cause of the dilatation of the image. (NO ITS NOT THE DAMN BLUR IM TALKING ABOUT) 1st person camera USED to move back and forth based on speed in the PRE-JET DLC and WE "1st PErson Slalom Pilot" LOVED IT! Romille said it too: ----break / break---- And please refrain from the "Buy a track IR" cause no thanks. Also i don't wanna sound like a douche to ordinary flyers, but they can fly in either conditions. Normal takeoff to cruise flight to standard approach everyone can do that. The so Called slalom Fliers, who flies low by necessity (avoiding AA for example) or just for PURE FUN are the one screwed right now. Plus most likely the Slalom-er minority has more time played combined then all the average arma 3 flyer, and the slalom-er spent more hours in the editor training under those poles then you in the whole game. Don` t take this from the wrong side, its not bragging or willing to turn you down, its more you gotta understand the dedication of some people, instead of splitting their time in different games they only play this one, and they only fly helos, because they are passionate. What you are liking right now its something that is BROKEN, they broke the view cause they changed the jet view in the game engine without thinking about it, they were lucky that some people who appear to test it liked it, if it was intended to be this screwed they wouldn't have rolled out a "broken FIX", Just the fact the CAMERA during AUTO ROTATION was totally into the ground perfectly prove my point. You cant even see your landing zone (you can now with the fix but thats not the point), whoever gave feedback on that helicopter camera clearly had no idea what he was saying, all respect given to whom take time to test, but the proof here is blatant. Anyway, Had to adapt to a lot of changes in the past, They kept the pre-jet dlc 1st person and 3rd person camera for so long the same way, you cant just blow it up like this.

I honesty feel like 1.70 (or the camera hotfix) its like a bandage quickly applied over a wound who needs stitches... you cannot just simply change something like the camera from a day to another and expect everyone to relearn flying. Yes We can relearn, but after 6000h well you know... do i really want to? Of course im a first Person camera non happy guy, and i barely use the 3rd, But im talking about 1st person and the FOV varying with the speed which was also broken in the past patch and its getting close to no attention.
