What is this? This is the aim of creating another total conversion mod. Whilst we have seen the two biggest superpowers appear in RHS's USAF and AFRF mods, we are aiming to create a total conversion mod for the British Armed Forces. We have the ambition to replicate as much of the British equipment as possible whilst maintaining high quality. When? As you can expect, with a project as large as this, it will take a while so expect no fast progress. We do have a bunch of models ready to go, but they need texture work. So to answer the question, not for a good while, at least 10 months of hard work are ahead of us. How to get involved? We are always looking for skilled people to get involved with us. We would definitely appreciate 3D artists and coders as they will be critical to the mod. If you wish to get involved, PM J. Adams on the forums or add his steam. Over the coming weeks and months, this thread will be used to update everyone and to post media of the mod. If you wish to stay well informed about the mod and the people behind it, join this steam group. Been play testing the kit and absolutely loving it! I only have one question, is the Royal Marines flash meant to be grey? If so no issues, it just looked a little odd to me lol. Either way, fantastic work Mike! -

11th Infantry Brigade | British Milsim Who are we? The 11th Infantry Brigade is a British themed military simulations group, based around Bohemia Interactive's latest title in the Arma franchise, Arma 3. As a unit, we strive for excellence and try our best to maintain a "serious fun" approach to our unit in order to provide the best possible experience for our members. As a unit, our main infantry force is represented by 1st Battalion, the Grenadier Guards, one of the British Army's light infantry battalions whose movement consists heavily around the use of the Foxhound LLPV as well as the Ridgeback and Mastiff Armored Personnel Carriers. As a unit, we have a lot of experienced members who have been in many other units and have gained valuable experience and knowledge which contribute heavily into making this unit as special as it is. What do we do? As a unit, we conduct weekly training and operations (see below), these events are the two compulsory events we host each week although there is always something occurring, whether it be on Arma or another game. Our operations are based around "deployments" and what this means is that each mission will be contributing to a bigger operation. For example, one week we could be conducting security and reassurance patrols in an Afghani village which could result in friendlier relations with village elders who will in return offer up information on the enemy force. This is just one of things we get up to in our operations. In our trainings, our focus is on the fine details of the Infantry Battle Drills, so that each of our members are well drilled in the most basic of techniques, before moving onto more complex subjects. These trainings have the aim of teaching each member everything they need to know in preparation for the operation, making sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. When do you play? In the unit, we have 3 main events: Wednesday evenings (2000 GMT) - Phase 1 training (Recruit Induction Course) Friday evenings (2000 GMT) - Platoon/Company training Saturday evenings (2000 GMT) - Unit Main Operation Events typically last 2 hours however this time can fluctuate, depending on in game circumstances. We understand that everyone has a life and that life comes first, if for any reason you are unable to attend an operation, you can submit an LOA (Leave of absence) form on our website that will let the staff know that you will not be attending and that we should not expect you. How do I signup? To join the unit, there is a simple 3 step process that should be followed by each prospective Recruit: Step 1 - Signup on our website and submit an application. Step 2 - Take part in a small interview with Recruitment Staff Step 3 - Download the unit mods Contact details Website: http://11thinfantrybrigade.org (Under Construction) Teamspeak: 31.186.250.99:9600 If you have any more questions, feel free to speak to a member of our Recruitment team on Teamspeak or PM a Senior Member on our forums.

Maybe (as an idea) you could make the different brigade flashes accessible through the virtual arsenal insignias and then have your regular Regimental flashes as separate uniforms? It would allow milsim units to use the uniforms without having to create custom uniforms just a thought :) -

I do have one question, will you make different variants that have different pouch and webbing configurations? Sort of similar to how 3CB have done theirs -

At the moment, progress is slow (only two of us working on the mod at the moment; Alex and myself) and we don't really have the "know how" to create these in game to the standard I'm thinking of. If anyone is a capable importer/config writer and would be interested in helping with this, PM me :) Adams- 241 replies
