Interesting at least you found something that simi works on windows 7. If you could try chrome, internet explorer and opera as well to see what results you get, don't know if you already tried. I don't have a win7 test pc at the moment but can retest on some of the newer windows builds and see what happens. Thanks for the news Thenex! At least we'll have a good direction for people to look when troubleshooting until it's fixed properly.

Apparently this solution is not working for everyone I'll update as I find out more. Keep in mind that all testing was done on computers with windows 10 fully updated and a fresh install of firefox was the fix across three different computers.

Sorry to hear that didn't work for you, as I love the game as well and understand the need to play. All my testing has been on Windows 10 on three different computers all fully updated with greatly different hardware such as d-gpu and intel internal ect. Of that test the only browser that worked was a fresh install of firefox. The issue seems to be purely browser based. However different windows builds can affect what browser version is available, could be an issue as well. Let me know some more details of your rig and will try and help get ya going, even if you sorted yourself would like to know to help others.

Use Firefox browser to fix the black screen issue. I've posted about it as well.

For anyone with the black screen issue and other problems of the like. Use Firefox browser and the game works fine. Tested in Chrome and Edge as well and Chrome gets black screen issue while Edge gets laggy controls, sound glitching and poor performance as of last testing. Only issue i've found with Firefox is continuing a save loads into a black screen but seems to be across the board and they are aware of the problem. - Further
