  2. Really enjoying the CTRG faction released in Apex. I'd really like to see uniforms suitable for Altis and stratis without the British flag as mentioned above (as there's already a sand version of the CRTG ghost hawk and prowlers in game). It would be great if those uniforms had the same thermal capabilities as the new CTRG jungle ones do. As it stands now I don't thing the desert CTRG 14 (Briidh unit) have any thermal capability. As far as further development of the faction goes. My take is that CRTG is essentially a futuristic NATO version of DEVGRU. So I think vehicles and additional kit should fall into that profile. Someone mentioned above that they should be more akin to light recon type elements. I'd disagree that that's the only direction for any future use of the faction. A very well rounded tier 1 unit and everything included in that I think makes more sense. Just my take...

    VON Improvements - Feedback

    Also, This may already be the case, but I think it would be interesting if access to all of the VON channels other than direct were dependant on the player having a radio in their inventory... Not certain if that's the case already. Haven't had the opportunity to try that as yet.

    Although I don't have the in-depth knowledge behind the VON as other posters here do, I do use the VON here and there... More so now than before. I find the audio quality not to bad now. It's certainly usable for me... The only thing I'd ask for is the ability to VON or have voice activated transmissions on the Direct channel (to simulate talking person to person), and still have the ability to press a button set to transmit separately on one of the other radio channels so to speak.... As it stands now, if you set a key binding to any of the radio channels, and you have VON activated, nothing happens when you press the key bound transmit button...

    Spatial Awareness Improvements

    I always preferred my Arma locked to first person with zero on screen overlays (ok, maybe the stance indicated that fades out...)... I always found it more immersive garnering situational awareness from the sights and sounds around my character. To me Arma really seems to deliver that awareness through the environment quite well. I just hope that kind of environmental development is always a top priority over screen overlay enhancements such as theses (No doubts that they are). That coupled with first hand experience in playing with different milsim squads; one that forced the first person viewpoint with no on screen overlays, and one that used the ShackTac HUD... The experience was night and day different... I always found the players in the group that didn't use the HUD were typically far more aware of what was going on around them than the ones in the group that did... That being said here's my two cents... Radar Feedback: - I agree with some other that have posted here, that this feature could be linked to the use of certain types of equipment (Tactical Glasses & GPS, ect...). For me, realism and immersion is key. I think being incorporated as a technical feature of a piece of equipment would be neat. -Definitely needs to be able to force this off from server side, so that no player can turn it on. Tactical Ping: - I'll echo whats been said above... Make this a simple pointing animation for your character. instead of superimposing anything on screen and hearing piano key sound. Simply have the character lower his gun and point with his support hand... Perhaps even have the character say "Look over there" as he points instead of that piano ping... In doing so, that characters voice could easily be stopped in Multiplayer for the groups who wish to do so. I think that would be most realistic when combined wit other realistic ways to tacticaly point stuff out (i.e. IR lasers, ect.). - For single player, have that above suggested animation tied to getting AI squad mates to look in that general direction for a short period of time. Done...

    Hi BadHabitz, just wanted to pass on a big thanks for your work on this mod. I've been using it as a base for my arma 3 gameplay for some time now. Really great stuff. I have a couple of questions if that's alright. The first, is there a way to donate to support this mod? Do you foresee ever using the steam workshop to distribute this mod? And lastly, I know this has been mentioned once before in the past (quoted below)... I'm using the 02AUG version obtained from armaholic. I'm finding that the AI field medic doesnt seem to proactively heal injured. He'll treat teammates if I direct him to, but doesnt seem to take care of things on his own as experienced with defail arma AI medics... I can confirm I am not using any addon or moded medical system... Thanks for your time, and again fantastic work on this mod! Easily one of my favorites.
