    WW4 Extended: Arctic

Thanks, I found quite an active discord for OFP so have managed to get Buldozer working on their advice. Someone already has made a Ukraine war mod on the Cyrillic side of the community I also discovered and they have done an absolutely epic job. I'm not sure if it's Russian or Ukranian made though it has some anti-war billboards in it so it doesn't seem biased. If you install this and you don't have a Russian language installation of Arma CWC/OFP you need to delete the Stringtables.cvx file in the Bin folder of the mod and everything will appear in English.

    WW4 Extended: Arctic

I don't know if anyone is interested in this though I was considering making a 2022 extension for WW4 with some old RHS tanks and some in game with a few + and Z markings on them, maybe some Ukrainian variants of the "National Troops" from the WW4 Extension with Yellow/Blue arm/helmet bands and a Ukraine map set around the Donetsk front. I lost my original 2001 version of OFP (required for Buldozer), or more rightly my PC doesn't have a CD drive anymore so modelling new objects with o2 is out so it will mostly be a few texture changes and a bit of the old WrpTool and config writing. I've just reinstalled Arma so will need to reinstall the old tools like TexPathSwap, PaaTool and the Photoshop Pac/Paa Utility, shouldn't be a great undertaking though can probably get it done in a few days.

    Mafia in OFP

If anyone's interested on a (sort of) related topic, I have an alpha on a Mafia mod I was working on a long long time ago (I think it's better than this one) though that's just my own opinion of course :P I was worried for a second they'd just re-stamped my mod with their logo! http://www.mediafire.com/download/l5jnc5ogo14/MafiaModAlpha1.zip
  4. I had a similar issue yesterday, I bought OFP back in 2001 when it was released but have lost my original CD (having version 1.00 installed seemed to make buldozer work fine) Now I only had Arma CWC 1.99 on my system yesterday, when 1.99 was first released standalone I downloaded it and my original OFP CD-Key worked for it, I actually memorised it years ago because i'm sad. I downloaded a torrent for OFP game of the year edition and installed it with my original genuine CD key, (If you have an ARMA:CWA one from Steam (right click view CD Key) I believe this will work too) this made Buldozer launch perfectly with no issues at all. I believe this is because it adds OperationFlashpoint to your system registry. Now before anyone tells me off for using a torrent site i'd like to point out that IF you have a genuine CD-Key I consider this to be perfectly legal as you have already paid for the product, and that it is to fix an issue inherent with the current version of o2 & buldozer available for anyone who wants to edit or create models for this game, not letting people do so should be considered a crime!. Also there is nothing to gain from an antiquated version of the same software. I'm also fairly certain that since it's released as a standalone download and the original license states that back-ups can be made. I don't see any difference from burning a backup CD of the game way back in 2001 to downloading a back up and installing it. People who pirate it though deserve to FADE ;) sorry for the waffle I work in Law.
