Hi, CSLA team!

First of all, thank you for a wonderful mod.

We are all waiting for the new version. ;)

I want to know something. maybe this question was already asked, but a can't find an answer...

What is the fate of this addon?

http://www.csla-studio.info/pics_wip/t72_wip.jpg

I think that your model looks more authentic than BIS one.

Will you release it for A2:CO or A3 ?

This model was originally created by Pochyst, but he is for a long time out of the community and this model was never finished to the final state, therefore we are not able to finish it w/o permission from Pochyst.Anyway, for the A3 we will probably create a brand new model of this famous beast, as it can be used also for the mini-Mod of Armed Forces of Slovak republic, which a first part of it will be included in the final release of A2:CO Mod.

It's hard to follow the atmosphere of OFP times, but this campaign is another unique piece created by the CSLA Studio.

I hope, you will enjoy it. ;)

Hi folks,

some good new for the end of this week. :)

In Friday, 13.09.2013 will be finally released current version of CSLA Mod - ver. 2.25, which includes also "huge" SP campaign codenamed '89 !

But before the release, look what will be also included in pack of addons with size of 1.3GB(!)

(fictious) Soviet submarine class Oscar II - K-349 "Dnepr"

Submarine actually has an functional lowering of antennas, releasing of depth rudders, animated screw-propellers, opening of all rocket hatches ... and functional firing of rockets P-700 Granit (NATO code: SS-N-19 Shipwreck) from all available rocket pods.

Yes, we know ... we promised release before 12.09., but Murphy's laws are always "activated" :D

Anyway, submarine is now functional and we may present is as a small flashback to the OFP times.

Other reason of the Friday release (note that it's Friday 13th :)) is that the players will have a whole weekend to play the campaign.

It contains more than 60 missions, but many of them are "hidden" - player needs to take a decisions and according to these decisions he will go throught the events which became on Chernarus in September 1989.

Great! Now we will have a roughly 60 mission campaign in (arguably) the best game setting(cold war)...thats SOoo out of fashion!

Why not follow the modern trends and cut that sub out and postprone the campaign and split it into 3 DLCs?

I mean that is what all the cool kids do nowadays +))) DLC is where its at!

But really - outstanding MOD and that sub brings back so much OFP memories!

Will be blastin' this with CWR2 on the OFP islands and recreate some old editor crazyness I used to do back in the day!

Another vehicle which will be included in the upcoming update will be OT-62 TOPAS.

This highly detailed and stunning model was created mainly by our team member Yano.

Fantastic news :D

++++

Im happy for two reasons. First of course an awesome mod is getting released that helps me over the abysmal ArmA III release.

But also Im a bit sentimental. CSLA was the first mod I ever took notice of, back when I played Operation Flashpoint as a kid. That was the time when I finally understood what the "Addons" folder did, and what the implications were. I was so excited to tell my friends "Any vehicle you want is on that website and you just download it and put in there and then its in the game!!!111".

So yeah thanks guys. Thanks for "the blast from the past".

Eight webcast is available on our YouTube channel. emsi_salute.gif

In this part we were focused on the special modificiations of BMP-1 - OZV-90 (armoured ambulance), DTP-90 (armoured service vehicle) and MU-90 (armoured mine layer).

The last vehicle presented in this webcast was a little bonus, because OT-62 TOPAS was placed into the Mod only few day ago - in release v2.25.

PS: The webcast is (and all others will be) commented only in slovak and czech language, so any community translation via subtitles is welcomed.

In this part we presented all available Tatra trucks and well known SCUD rocket launcher.

You can easily meet this beast in CSLA campaign with code name '89.

Amazing work guys, always loved your work since the original OFP! It's mods like this that keep me from playing my ArmA3! I just don't play ArmA3, it's sat on my drive gathering dust! ;)
