I also clicked "other" because I need to open my PC case and point a fan into it, as ArmA2 is the only game I have that overheats my video card :)

Oh, and I also use a Medusa headset too. 5.1 sound and a mic.

I used to use a Joystick... but since MS dropped gameport support in Vista (and carried this into Windows 7, which I'm using) my Sidewinder no longer works!

On that note, any recommendations?

No, my particular stick does NOT work with adapters. Something about the specialized optical circuitry or some nonsense. (which is explained in the very article I linked to)

I know what you mean. This thing is almost 15 years old and it works flawlessly... ( or did, till someone arbitrarily decided supporting a gameport "in favor of usb" - as if they were mutually exclusive :( )

I wish modern sticks were that durable.

(yes, i'm glaring at YOU, logitech)

I did try using my Momo wheel and pedals once but with the Hotas, keyboard and mouse as well it kinda became a retarded process of desk management (and kind of kills the immerson having to unscrew the wheel so I can use the keyboard agin, etc)

Unfortunately I can't use my TrackIR 2 in ArmA II since someone have decided that is to old even if it works perfectly fine in IL-2/LO:FC/ArmA I/etc. But the same someone do offer me a brand new one for ~2000.00 SEK and they will be more then happy do so every other year or so I guess!

As it isn't already enough money to keep the rest of the machine updated to be able to play sims/games with OK performance...

I don't use my brain....is that some kind of problem?! I do have a TM Cougar + pedals and a wheel, as well as a TIR. In my spare time I play the harp, piccolo, viola, and piano, and DCS Black Shark. I only use the instruments as training for using the Cougar though...

Logitech G15, G5v2, Extreme3DPro, and a mic/headset combo.

I want to get a TrackIR and a throttle/forcefeedback joystick and a wheel+pedal combo and 2 more widescreens but if joystick support isn't made functional there is no reason.
